5 Great and Free Resources for New Writers
Being a freelance writer is hard and requires resources. When I first started, I did so for a few reasons. I wanted to be able to work remotely, set my hours, and my rates. I’m sure many of the freelance writers started with these reasons in mind too.

The 10 Reasons Why Travel is Important to MeTop Story - October 2021
I grew up on a small island in the Caribbean. Even though there were many areas to visit, I was running out of places to explore as I got older. I also started to get curious about the world outside of the island and dreamed of exploring bigger places. I believe I started to suffer from what is called island fever, a concept I learned recently. It would explain a lot.

Do I Really Need to Become an Expert in Lightroom?
As the years have gone by, I initially thought there was a constant battle between the two hemispheres of my brain. I remembered while growing up, the right side of my brain was the predominant force since my creativity always took priority. I involved myself in all things creative, including theatre, music, and crafts. Later on, during my university years, the left side of my brain began to force my creative side, well…to the side. Welcome to Ponce
The Cuidad de Leones (City of Lions) and La Perla del Sur (Pearl of the South) are some of the names used to describe the city of Ponce located on the small island of Puerto Rico. Ponce sits between a Central Mountain Range and the Caribbean Sea and received its name from the island’s first governor, Juan Ponce de León. It’s also the second-largest city on the island after San Juan.

Devil’s Tower
Who doesn’t love a good road trip? Road trips can be spontaneous, you just drive to see where it leads you. But they can also offer a level of control over the when, where, and how long to spend on the road. Travelers can choose when to depart, such as before the sunrise hours, after morning traffic, or early evening. They can pick a place on the map, near or far, and decide how long they want to spend on the road. How long they wish to stay anywhere. There’s also a certain beauty a traveler gets to enjoy while on the road. There’s so much to see.

Geierlay Suspension Bridge
Many people like to seek adventure in different manners. I prefer to seek it through books, both fiction and non-fiction, and travel. I also define adventure as the need to learn via first-hand experiences doing unusual or daring things, whenever possible. However, there are times when I underestimate how adventurous I feel.

When in Puerto Rico, Eat Plantains
Growing up in Puerto Rico meant exposure to many, oh so many dishes where the main ingredient was the plantain (plátano in Spanish). You may look at a plantain and think it’s a green banana, and even though they may be closely related, I don’t recommend eating it raw.
