Multistore Model Memory (MSM)
Memory is an individual’s way of interacting with his/her world and perceiving new information. It’s a complex system that stores, retrieves, and acknowledges information, and the way it functions is still a mystery to man-kind. Nonetheless, there have been numerous theories and models about the way in which memory functions. One of these theories within the cognitive level of psychology is called ‘the multistore model of memory’ (MSM), which was proposed by Atkinson and Shiffrin (1968). The model claims that the memory is not a single unit, but it is made up of three different types of memory; the sensory store, the short-term store (STS), and the long-term store (LTS). These different stores vary in the duration which they can hold a memory, the capacity of their storage, and the coding or way in which each stores specific information. The information is first received by the sensory memory, then, it is sent over to STS, and by repeating the data continuously, it will be sent to the LTS where it can be retrieved again to the STS. The idea is far too simple to be applied to something as complex as the memory, and has been doubted to be true by many scientists, but on the other hand, there are examples such as the case of HM to support this plain model.

The Power of Genetic Inheritance
The human behavior has always been one of the fascinating subjects in psychology. However, the mystery of what factor in life is it that makes us behave the way we do remains unanswered. Psychologists all over the world have spent years on determining the behavioral influences and until now, genetic inheritance and nurture are by far the most reasonable explanations when it comes to human behavior. There have been arguments about whether or not genetic inheritance influences an individual’s personality along with numerous studies to support the idea, including the study of Leonard L. Heston and J. M. Baily & R. C. Pillard, which are two famous examples when it comes to genetic inheritance.

Reviewing 'The Fault in Our Stars'
‘’My thoughts are stars I can’t fathom into constellations.’’—John Green The Fault In Our Stars is a novel written by John Green, describing the life of a 17-year-old girl (Hazel) with Thyroid cancer, and her short relationship with a boy named Augustus from a first person point-of-view. During the novel, the readers witness the development of love between these two teenagers, but as the novel gets closer to the end, Augustus (who was a cancer survivor) gets informed that his cancer has spread again and that this time, the chances of him surviving are not likely. At the very end, after Augustus passes away, Hazel finds a letter which he had sent to her favorite author (Peter Van Houten), and the novel ends by the end of the letter. There are three parts in this letter, which are going to be analyzed in this essay before coming to the conclusion if whether or not it was a good way to end the novel, with Augustus’s letter: The beginning, middle, and end.

Can We Know Ourselves?
Every individual is always at war within themselves in order to know who they really are. But with the constant changes of our environment, society, and acquaintances, it is quite difficult to find a reasonable answer to questions such as knowing yourself. The pressure that is put on every individual by their surroundings, forces them to make minor changes in their behaviour unconsciously, which leads to being a new person, depending on the conditions that the individual lives in.
