You are what you think.
For many people, writing is what happens when you sit down and put pen to paper. But before we hastily jump into writing, we need to remember to listen. How can you create space for listening and inspiration before embarking upon writing? I can only describe that music teaches you how to reach new levels of listening by opening up to the whole of human experience.Artists and creators feel intimidated by all kinds of blocks. In this lesson of music 🎼 before writing I share in my belief that knowledge is endless and can share a way to access that knowledge, such as learning to draw from your dream world to find meaning. teaches the necessity of undoing beliefs that hold you back. Drawing on these principles will fortify you to work from an endless abundance of creativity.

We all need a Hero.
If ever I'm struggling to define just what Paul Scholes meant to me, or just how good he was, I simply remember how I felt on Sunday 8 January 2012. That day, I woke and eased out of bed, and psyched myself up for the 162nd Manchester derby. United and City were already pummelling each other to bits in the race for the league title, so there was quite the commotion when the Reds and Blues came out of the hat together in the draw for the FA Cup third round. Darbys are always exciting, and especially so during the 2008-13 period, as an Abu Dhabi-powered City finally began to creep out of a decades-long stint in the competitive wilderness but there was something else that morning whispers of paul scoles; of a remarkable return from retirement. And then there it was: in the morning papers, across the sports channels, on social media. And when the teams were announced at midday, there he was: Paul Scholes, number 22, among the substitutes. All set for United appearance no. 677.

Habits.
Demands of an inner YOU. Coming to an understanding that "This moment is not the rest of my life" has been life changing for me. I remember a time when it was very hard for me to separate "this moment" from the rest of my life. If I was going through a rough patch I would falsely think "This is how it always is and this is how it always will be." If I was going through a time where everything was falling into place (those seem to happen less often than the previous scenario) I would think I had finally arrived, and figured out how to do life and then be completely surprised when the next bad , stressful moment slapped me across my face, I was left thinking, "This will be the rest of my life."

OWL PROJECT X
IT WAS A DELIRIOUS DREAM The world passed me by , no hello no goodbye, I lay there on the ground not making any sound, It was surreal are my dreams real ? Nothing as it truly seems But I felt it was all so real, I remember every detail, It was a rather busy street, I was being surrounded by feet, running past not seeing me, I was invisible as can be. In that moment my reality it was as bizarre as can be, As when I finally awoke my hair smelt of car smoke.

Haunted.
When I was born there was something Demonic about the house. Something was peculiar about it. There were noises at night, doors slamming, footsteps down the hall and the worst thing about it you were never alone, someone was always watching you wherever you were!!

This is Me.
I didn’t know I was poor until I grew up. I didn’t know the cheese I ate was from the government or how my name hung somewhere on a Christmas tree in some church. I didn’t know I was just a yellow star amongst a hundred yellow stars that someone picked off and took home....I didn’t know until I got older. I didn’t know that the food I ate was because it was all there was or that sometimes the house was extra cold for the night because the electricity was turned off. I didn’t know that the light switch was just a meter counting every second in currency or how mom stressed and struggled to pay the bills....I didn’t know until I could hear her crying on the other side of the bathroom door. I didn’t know the house I lived in in kindergarten was where the poor kids lived.... I didn’t know until I grew up and someone told me.
