David Fournier
Bio
I am a writer, poet and performance artist. My whole life I have loved the beauty of words, whether I'm writing them into a narrative or using them to make silly voices. I am poised to publish my first book and kids series.

Arrivals Never End
There, nestled in a row or empty cashmere seats, lies a man out of time, slumped awkwardly with his elbows beneath the arm rests and his fedora hat barely clinging to that which it was made for. The Long Way Back
There is a space very dear to me. It lies somewhere between the heat and the cold, the core and the surface. A place I never knew I was always fighting for. Mirror, Mirror
The only thing linking two worlds, the remnants of sand. One where it held together, and one where it crumbled. Reflection is a privilege reserved only for the former. Gone are the days of pen and paper, wall and stone. One need not worry of the pitfalls of such vanity. There is no attempt to match one another. What you see is what you get.

Dance with the Darkness
I will dance with the darkness. I will fight with the light. Send your wishes to the edge, that’s where I live. All I do is lose. All I do is gain. Hoist me up and I am a slave to my imagination. Watch me walk like I’ve got time in front of me. The sun lays my shadows behind me.
