The call came today Just a short while ago Said you won't be coming back They weren't sure what transpired, But I already know.
The revolution is rising. I can feel it in my blood The power builds within Can you feel it hum? . The power surges.
I hate you so much for all that you’ve done And all that you haven’t. Nearly seven years wasted, For what? No reason other than your sick, sadistic, selfish whim.
Is it too much to ask for that I’ll someday find a country song kind of love? The kind that moves your soul, Pierces your heart with longing for something so real?
Why does every goodbye feel like forever? Always wondering if I’ll ever see you again. Not just you.. but her, him, them.

They’ll tell you to get over it. Wonder why you can’t forget it. The trauma replays in my mind. Over and over, on a constant rewind.
Did you really think that you could keep me there? Just sitting upon the shelf? No thought to my welfare, Or the needs of myself?
