100 Years of Badass Black Women in Music
Black women have undoubtedly had a substantial and often overlooked impact on music for centuries. Many genres can be traced back to Black roots beginnings only later to gain widespread popularity by white men with money. And even when Black women receive the notoriety they deserve, it often comes with whitewashing by corporate executives to make their music and appearance more 'palatable' to the general population.

I lived in Paris for a year, and I'm dying to go back. When I lived there in 2018, I was an au pair and an English teacher. I didn't even live in Paris proper. My apartment was in a small suburb on the outskirts of Paris. I worked around 60 hours a week, so I didn't have much time to explore Paris at all. Not to mention I was broke, and Paris can be très cher.

Thankful for plot twists? It may sound strange, but hear me out. What gets you out of bed in the morning? What keeps your life exciting? When things seem hopeless, what keeps you trudging through life's muddy waters?

Y’all. Am I the only one who doesn’t have a set workout routine? When I think of exercise, I don’t imagine a planned list neatly organized in sets of reps. If I tried to workout that way, I would give up after a week. Hour long pilates videos and weight-lifting have never worked out for me. Instead, I like to think of working out as a set of activities that I enjoy doing throughout the day. Everyday.
