Who Am I?
Every poet does it.....so why can't i?? Who am I? Funny question Sometimes even I don't know. There are many ways, that I can go. My brain has acquired so much. some may say I'm blessed they don't know it's rough when info bleeds out stress pointing me here pointing me there pointing me anywhere So needless to say, questions like "Who am I?" are loaded questions needing clarification. My mind is the pilot, on this jet. And that can be a good thing. Though the true reality its not necessarily, a good thing--to have your mind as the king Because when your mind starts drifting it can start leading--to all of the doubting Start questioning yourself like... Who Am I? Who am I? okay okay okay I know y'all are still wondering when is this fool gonna answer the question Who Am I? Honestly, I don't know how to express this... Who am I? Who am I? I'm a recovering addict And a schooled theologian I thought I should mention that even I--was battling my demons Two different me two different stories Just wanted everybody to accept me And when most rejected me the question still remained inside of me Who am I? Who am I? I know it's a foggy picture Still I recognize I am supposed to be a leader Turn my tests and my messes Into testimonies and messages Pointing people to the right path So they can have good karma And won't see any wrath Haha, funny question Who am I? Well, I realize I can be a guy-- who helps others in life With the words that I write, I can encourage a fight and save a life Who Am I? Who am I? I'm just another poet Expressing positivity In word form.

Childlike
Excitement in the eyes Energized Running...jumping...playing Not a care in the world Why can't life be this easy? Nothing to worry about; Childlike!! Benjamin Button, Why can't we reverse time? But I guess it's in our nature To learn and grow If we stay Childlike We will never know The dangers and imperfections In this world We need to learn In order for survival, This world can be so cold... With bickering, fighting, and hatred Shortening our time; Still sometimes, I wonder... Why? Why can't things still be Childlike? With no care in the world. Innocent is presented! True human nature is present! Just loving and caring No stress in the world Wow! What a world? If only we can get back to our youthful ways Know what we know today To make a change If only there was a way To go back to being Childlike!

History Of The Queen
Deserted lies the city, Once full of people Like a widow Who was great amongst the nations She was a queen Now a slave Bitterly at night Tears on her cheek Lovers, no one there to comfort her All friends betrayed All have become enemies After affliction and harsh labor She has gone into exile Dwelling amongst the nations Finding no resting place All who have pursued her Have overtaken her Midst her distress Roads mourn; as no one comes to her festivals Her gateways‐-desolate Elders groan As well as the young grieve In bitter anguish Foes become masters Making enemies at ease Up high; there is grief Because of many wrongdoings

Stand Up
Stand up for yourself Do not let the pressure win They have no power Remember that, my friend Live your life in confidence Do not live in bouts Pain, tears, struggles may arise But don't let that define Stand up proudly Be yourself, be you only Do not conform your beliefs Be true, be who you are Who knows, you will never know Staying true may take you far Farther than you expected So stand up for yourself Do not live in bouts Do not live in doubt Doubt is just a game That is being played in your brain Stand up for yourself Do not let the pressure win They have no power Remember that, my friend

Talk It Out
As I walk through this life To know what is real love In a world that's so fake It takes a lot of faith To put your trust into people Especially when they can become so evil Causing pains Causing heartbreaks It makes you question this world Is there still enough good in this world To egin a process of a world's cure But let me ask, Is there any good left to begin? Or are we so trapped in our everyday living? Stuck in our habits Stuck in our ways Pushing down our pains Until we're in a state of rage Let me say something, Listen up though, That's not the way To handle your pains There's needs to be communication That's the solution Even with different perspectives There should be unity never division We should live in harmony Live in understanding To know one another So you can better understand each other It's a constant learning process But that's the human cure To all of this nonsense We need to be diplomatic Instead of solving pronlems in bloody conflicts Talk it out, talk it out That's the safest way To solve all issues And alleviate the pains

Intricate Thoughts Running
The intricate thoughts run through my mind Searching; wondering all about life All the time! Do I claim to know it all? No! I am far from it. But every day, I'm trying to gain more understanding Like my favorite subject The battle between Good and Evil Love and Hate I have to be a good student To be a better character In this game called life To create peace To create community In this world It can be hard When the world is so swirled Numbness to the evil We expect the war It is sad! It makes me mad! How can we change our paths? To see we are the same Trying to figure out life's game We have more in common than we think So let's build; don't let your neighbor sink Don't you see The arguin' leads to fightin' Fightin' leads to wars With war leading to destruction But just see How love creates construction It's crazy How it can be Giving a lending hand can go a long way I apologize for all the ranting But it's amazing How everything is lately If it ain't promoting violence Then it just gets silence Like that should be the sign We are headed in the end times I don't know for certain But these are just the intricate thoughts running through my mind
