'Euphoria' Ep 3. Review and Recap
The third episode of the HBO series Euphoria titled "Made You Look," is centered around the character Kat. In the previous episodes, a video of Kat having sex is leaked, but it quickly goes away. The show ends with Kat on her laptop looking at the video of her on a porn site, and being surprised by the amount of views and positive comments she received. She then is seen clicking on a site where it reads, "Get money for camming." Other information that you need to know before watching the episode is that Rue and Jules have started a very close friendship, but Rue still struggles to stay sober. As Rue and Jules are getting closer Jules begins to talk to some random guy online who is revealed at the end of episode 2 to be Nate.

Worst to Best Freshmen 'XXL' List 2019
XXL is a very popular and influential hip hop magazine established in 1997. Starting in 2008 the magazine began to release its annual freshmen list, that contains 10 upcoming rappers. Some rappers who have appeared on the list are Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole, Schoolboy Q, Chance the Rapper, and many more. Each year, prior to the release of the freshmen list, rappers are seen on YouTube pitching themselves and giving the fans a reason to choose them as a XXL freshmen. While many rappers have tried to join the list others have declined it such as Lil Skies, Nicki Minaj, and ASAP Rocky. I’ve seen a lot of videos of people eating each artist on the cover so I thought I’d weigh in on the 10 artist that were chosen, and rank them worst to best.

'Big Little Lies' Season 1 Review
In 2017 HBO released Big little Lies, a series based on the novel by Liane Moriarty. Both the novel and the series center around a group of mom’s in Australia raising their kids. The show stars Reese Whitherspoon, Zoe kravitz, Shailene Woodley, and Nicole Kidman. As of this year, the show has 2 seasons and have watched both along with reading the novel. The show is filled with subplots and drama, but I’ll try to give my best synopsis before I give my thoughts on the second season.

Things I Want to Learn in the Next Two Years
Last week, I took a 20 minute nap and when I woke up, my thought was “Wouldn’t it be nice if I were to spend those 20 minutes doing something that will help me in the future?” Don’t get me wrong, it was a good nap and I was refreshed afterwards, but after I take one, I can’t help but feel guilty and lazy. To me, when I take a nap, I feel like I’m not being my best productive self, and am stopping time and my growth. During this summer, I’ve had a lot of free time, and I’m sure I’m not the only taking advantage of this time, but I don’t want to be like the rest of my peers. When it comes time to applying to college or jobs, I want to have a list of skills that will differentiate me the pack; and now, going into my junior year seems like the time to do that. Here are skills and thing I want to do during the next two years before I graduate.

Kiana Ledé ‘Myself’ EP Review
Kiana Brown, or more commonly known as Kiana Ledé, is a 22-year-old R&B singer and actress from Arizona. She started her career when moving to Los Angles at only the age of 16, but since she was young singing was always a passion. After getting Signed to Republic Records, Kiana had an amazing 2018 with the success of her song “Ex.” The song was part of her EP Selfless, which was released a year ago on July 13, 2018. “Ex” went on to be Kiana’s first song to appear in the top 10 of the R&B charts and now has been remixed by rappers Lil Baby and French Montana. She then performed the song at the 2019 BET awards. If you’re still unsure of who she is, you might recognize her from her role as Veronica on the Netflix Original series The Washingtons.

Where Are You Going to Be in a Year?
Whether you're just starting to work out in the gym, getting rid of a bad habit, or starting a new stressful job, we all need motivation. In the last year, I've started numerous projects, and most of them I don't finish. Why? Because of my lack of motivation and overall desire to keep going with something. I had a fresh idea in my head and I was so ready to start executing it, so I quickly began. Each project I started off strong like an athlete sprinting when they begin their mile, but then I would reach the middle of this project and all of that desire I had was washed up. Before, I didn't know the reason why I didn't want to keep going, but not too long ago I've found the reason. I've found why I wasn't motivated and not giving myself that necessary push, and that what was holding me back and leaving me in the same space every time I quit.

'Euphoria' Ep. 2 Recap and Review
I recently did a review and small character analysis of the new Euphoria series, Euphoria starring Zendaya, and I thought along with doing a big picture review I'd an episode recap for those who haven't watched. I decided I start with episode two instead of one because I believe recaps are for people who've watched the first episode and aren't into the show enough to want to watch the next and they prefer reading about it. According to the actors and creators of the show each episode is centered around each of the characters. Moreover the second episode of Euphoria called "Stuntin like my daddy," seems to center around the character Nate, who is a overly masculine quarterback, who finds pride in protecting his on-and-off girlfriend Maddy. Maddy is the definition of a popular cheerleader, with slim figure, plump lips, and borderline bitchy attitude.

Little Girls: Remember When
Remember the good old days when we were blind. In our own little bubble blocked away from any trouble. Not all of us had the luxury of staying in that bubble, and it was popped too early by traumatic events, but we can still remember a time when there was all smiles. Sure there are still smiles now, but they don't come as easy, or they do and they just don't last that long.

Top Five New R&B Songs
Next to Hip Hop, R&B (Rhythmic and blues) is my favorite genre to listen to—from the slow beats to the outstanding vocals that make me wish I could sing ,or rather just hold a simple note. Because I do have a passion for listening to R&B, there are so many songs I could list or recommend, but today I’m sticking to my top five R&B songs that were released in the last two years. So if you’re wondering why “Doo Wop,” by Lauryn Hill isn’t on here, that’s why. These are the songs that you might not have seen on the charts, but surely they deserve to be there, and on your love/feelings playlist.

Shows I've Binged and Loved on Netflix
It's recorded that the average person spends an hour and 11 minutes watching Netflix. If you have Netflix then you probably know the endless cycle of finding a good Netflix show only to finish it in a week, and spend another hour scrolling through your recommendations. I've had Netflix for about 5 years now and during this duration I've watched many shows that I've loved and finished and others that are still in my continue watching category. Of course I am not you so you may not want to watch these shows, but if you're someone who clicked on this because of the Gossip Girl photo then you're in the right place.

Best Genius Verified Videos
As I explained in one of my previous articles, "Content to watch on YouTube if you love music." Genius has a YouTube channel with various series about artists and the process it takes to make their music. One of these series is called Genius Verified in which artists come and explain their song lyrics. The series invites all artists at various stages of their music careers. From upcoming singers like Clairo, Kiana Lede, and Trinidad Cordona to Grammy winning artist such as Jay Rock, Anderson Paak, and Daniel Caesar, the series gives all artists the platform to express how they came up with their lyrics. As someone who wants to become a songwriter, this series is extremely impressive to me, and I love it. Now as much as I would love to binge every single video, some videos are unnecessary, because there isn’t any symbolism behind wanting to go to the jeweler. Unless, I don’t know, you’re somehow talking about how the jewels are a representation of your frozen tears or cold heart. Moreover not every one of these genius videos is perfect, so there are only a good amount that I enjoyed, and feel the need to share with you.

'Euphoria' TV Review
For those of you who don't know on June 16 HBO released its new teen series starring Disney channel star, Zendaya, as a drug addict named Rue. The show was written by Sam Levinson, and on the list of executive producers appears rapper and singer Drake. Before the release of the show I was already excited, because I've been a big fan of Zendaya since her debut in the Disney channel show Shake it Up. That was actually one of my favorite shows on Disney Channel as a child. So when Euphoria was released I wasn't hesitant to watch. So far I am all caught up, and I can say the show definitely wasn't what I expected in terms of how intense the content was. Because, as of today, the show has been renewed for a second season, I decided to do a review of the characters and situations, and later on I will continue with an episode to episode review. I'm only analyzing and giving my first impressions for characters I have something to say about.
