8 Months Free
Free from drowning in alcohol and drugs and the constant need to party with friends. Free from the worry of where my next fix is going to come from. Free from the need to pour whiskey and diet Pepsi in a cup, then to snort a line. Free from the all-nighters which became all dayers because I was still too messed up to sleep. Free from the two-day hangovers filled with stomach rot and very high anxiety. Free from the need to do it all over again the next weekend.

'Heartless' by Marissa Meyer
Welcome to the magical world of Wonderland, where here you learn the story of the Queen of Hearts! In the wonderful world of the Queen of Hearts, we know the story of Alice but did you know how the Queen of Hearts came about? I didn’t! Not until I read Heartless by Marissa Meyer. She writes “I hope you’ll forgive any inaccuracies, or even chalk them up to creative license if you’re feeling generous, and I sincerely hope that the spirit of Lewis Carroll will find more amusement than offense in my attempts to expand on his crazy, kooky, quirky world. It is Wonderland after all.” Lewis Carroll is the original writer of Alice In Wonderland. I honestly felt as if I was in Wonderland experiencing all the magic myself! Come live in the fictional world of Wonderland.

We Moved!
What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do? I've gotten myself though abuse, addictions, and suicidal thoughts; now, I'm getting myself through a move. A month ago, I moved to a new town to start over. A fresh start was something my son and I needed. Like anything, changes has its ups and downs. The only person I know here is my boyfriend, and I am so grateful to be able to live with him and have a new family life, but the change has been hard. My depression has gotten considerably worse.

Emotional Eating
Did you know eating chips can boost your serotonin levels in your brain thus making you feel happier? Yup, It’s true! I read along time ago that the crunch of chips or candy boosts the serotonin in your brain. I learned this when I was 17, and I started my journey of emotional eating. “During her research at MIT, Dr. Judith J. Wurtman, co-author of The Serotonin Power Diet, discovered why people binge on sweets or starchy carbohydrates to relieve depression, anxiety, or anger. They do it because it raises their brain serotonin levels, thus making them feel happier.” — from bebrainfit.com

Suicide
Have you ever thought of suicide? I attempted to commit suicide a total of three times. Every time was scary. My first story was a short explanation of what had happened. But in real life, these simple words on paper will never truly express how scary it is to feel that way, to feel alone all the time. I felt like I wasn't good enough for my family and friends, and that they didn't care, anyway—none of which was true!

Book Review: 'Trafficked'
The Sunday Times Bestseller, Trafficked, by Sophie Hayes, is a beautifully written biography. “The terrifying true story of a British girl forced into the sex trade.” Trusting a friend ended up being her most significant and scariest mistake. Torn away from her home, beaten and forced to sell herself for money, this biography grabs you right from the beginning. I found myself unable to stop reading and turning page after page. This is my review and why I would recommend you read it.

Suicide
I had a feeling of need to tell my story today; I don't know why but I am going with it, so here it is! OK guys I wanna tell you a story of a completely broken girl. It’s real, it’s messy and maybe hard to read. But I want to tell it in the hopes it may help someone else. Suicide! It’s real and people get so low they feel completely hopeless and don’t bother seeing a point in trying anymore. I know this because this is exactly how I felt.
