Top WOW Moments In The ‘Star Wars’ Prequels: Part 2
Another reason why I appreciate the prequels is they try to be different. The Force Awakens echoes A New Hope in how a nobody discovers they are Force-sensitive and helps thwart the antagonists. For all the claims that The Last Jedi subverts expectations (it doesn’t), it is largely a mash-up of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. The Big Bad tries to turn our hero while the Empire… er, sorry...the First Order chase the Rebels… um...the Resistance through space. Last Jedi culminates in walkers marching on a fort whereas Empire begins with walkers marching on their base.

Top WOW Moments In The ‘Star Wars’ Prequels: Part 1
The original trilogy has plenty of WOW moments. Now, a WOW moment doesn’t necessarily mean some big set action piece. It can be, but action extravaganzas are becoming pedestrian in today’s age of CGI. A genuine WOW moment will draw an emotional response from you. It’ll make you sit back and say, “Wow!” A New Hope is filled with them, from Obi-Wan’s sacrifice, to Luke Skywalker turning off his targeting computer during the trench run, to Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon saving Luke just in time from Darth Vader, to even something simple like Luke wearing a helmet with a blast shield and deflecting the seeker’s blasts on the Millennium Falcon. In each of these moments, we feel whatever emotion the scene is trying to draw from us. In these examples I’ve listed: sadness, exhilaration, joy, and pride.

Top WOW Moments In The ‘Star Wars’ Prequels: Part 3
I prepared for The Rise of Skywalker’s release by rewatching all the Star Wars movies. I had seen them all when they were first released, and then again when they went to DVD, then Blu-ray. This time, however, I had time and distance with me, and the sequel trilogy as comparisons to how people other than George Lucas did things.

Top 7 Things From Legends That Are Now Canon
Following the Disney purchase of Lucasfilm, all Star Wars content not originally created by George Lucas was deemed "Legends", freeing Lucasfilm to create a whole new universe of characters and stories set in the Star Wars galaxy. As time has passed, however, many characters and situations that were introduced in Legends content have started finding their way back into official canon, usually with some alterations made to fit them into the new story canon. Here are the top seven things from Legends that have made such a journey.

Crimson Dawn Reveals Padmé Amidala Has A Connection To The Crime Syndicate
Since writer Greg Pak took over the reins as the writer for Darth Vader in 2020, there have been several connections to the sequel trilogy, as he promised there would be during his appearance at Comic-Con@Home 2020. However, the one thing he did not mention was how many connections there would be to the prequel era. The era once thought left behind is again an integral part of the overall story.

Knights Of Ren To Storm Fortress Vader
2021 has been a big year for Star Wars comics. Things started off with a bang this year with the release of the Into the Fire arc as part of Greg Pak's Darth Vader series. The comic follows the famous Sith Lord and his discoveries about Darth Sidious between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Into the Fire saw Vader discover the existence of Exegol from a Sith Wayfinder on Mustafar, prompting him to invade the planet to get back at his master for nearly killing him over his failure to turn Luke to the dark side. The arc ended with the Emperor showing Vader the true extent of his power on Exegol, putting his apprentice in his place, and blinding one of his assassins, Ochi of Bestoon.

'Star Wars' Comics Reveal Luke Missed An Opportunity To Stop Starkiller Base's Construction
For millennia, the planet Ilum was a sacred place for the Jedi. Located deep within the Unknown Regions, hardly anyone outside the Order knew of its existence. Nevertheless, countless generations of Jedi younglings were taken there for a ritual called The Gathering, where they searched inside the Crystal Cave for a kyber crystal that would “sing” to them, and build their lightsabers around their crystals. The crystal and the Jedi-to-be formed a symbiosis that would ideally last for a lifetime.

Tom Holland States He Would Love His Spider-Man To Go Up Against These Classic Villains In Future Projects
*Spoiler warning for Hawkeye* As Spider-Man: No Way Home sweeps through the Marvel fandom (don't worry, there won't be any spoilers here, I haven't seen it yet myself) many MCU fans are wondering what could be next for Tom Holland's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. While there has been some speculation that No Way Home will be Holland's finale as Peter Parker, many fans would balk at this idea. While Tobey Maguire has an extremely devoted fanbase and Andrew Garfield brought a popular, quippy attitude to the role, there are many Spidey fans (including myself) who believe Tom Holland has surpassed his two predecessors.

Is It Possible For Plagueis To Appear In ‘Star Wars Eclipse’?
Right off the bat, this isn't news. This isn't a rumor. I personally wouldn't call this a theory either. This is more like guesswork, seeing that we only have the prequels and the High Republic to work with along with some "How's?" and "Why's?" I don't want this to be seen as "Star Wars Eclipse COULD Feature Darth Plagueis" by flinging mud at the wall with a red arrow pointing to the figure rising out of the black tar that's been circled in red, screaming the question is that Snoke?...I mean...Plagueis?

'Return Of The Jedi' Receives The Same Honor As 'A New Hope' And 'Empire Strikes Back'
This past week, Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi achieved what some may say is immortal status within the film industry by being added to the National Film registry, much to the delight of many Star Wars fans. It joins previous Star Wars movies, A New Hope, which was added in 1989, and The Empire Strikes Back in 2010. But what does this mean for the galaxy far, far away?

Everything We Know About The Ubisoft ‘Star Wars’ Game So Far
If you are like me, you have been waiting for any shred of news about Ubisoft’s upcoming Star Wars game. The Game Awards seemed like a prime place to reveal a trailer for the game, details about what genre it would fall into, or, dare I say, a release window. However, The Game Awards this year gave us a different Star Wars surprise. Quantic Dream’s Star Wars Eclipse looks like it will be a story full of choices befitting the galaxy far far away. While a new Star Wars game, from Quantic Dream no less, is certainly exciting, it left several fans, myself included, wondering about Ubisoft’s Star Wars game.
