What We Know About 'Kenobi' Based On These Preview Images
Considered one of the greatest all-around Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi, aka the Negotiator, led a life directed by duty and commitment. Obi-Wan had to grow into himself. As a young Padawan, he was unsure of his Force abilities and assumed his Master, Qui-Gon Jinn, felt the same way. Kenobi did not seek adventure or excitement. Instead, his anxiety stunted his growth, as did his Master’s frugal doses of praise. Not until his mid-20s did Obi-Wan Kenobi fully reach his potential by defeating Darth Maul and taking on his own Padawan learner, Anakin Skywalker.

Fan Created The Most Gruesome Jango Fett Death Using Deleted Footage
While Star Wars, for the most part, is pitched as a franchise suitable for all ages, the series hasn't shied away from showing what a lightsaber can do to a person. In A New Hope, Obi-Wan cut off Ponda Baba's arm during a brief altercation in the Mos Eisely cantina, but that was kind of cool more than anything. It let us know that Obi-Wan was more than a simple hermit. We also had Obi-Wan's death on the Death Star, but that wasn't exactly brutal from a physical standpoint. Vader hit Obi-Wan, then Obi-Wan disappeared. It was more mystical than anything. Well, come the iconic duel between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader in The Empire Strikes Back, we got to see what a lightsaber can do when Vader slices off Luke's hand, which visibly goes flying while still clutching his lightsaber. It's a fairly brutal moment.

Could This Character Show Up In Amazon's 'The Rings Of Power'?
With the reveal of some of the major character posters and the hints we have been getting about Amazon’s The Rings of Power, many questions have come up about who else might make an appearance in this era of Middle Earth. Many of our favorite characters, especially the elves, are already around in the Second Age of Middle Earth, which is when the series will be taking place. It makes sense that we will see characters such as Elrond and Galadriel who are apparently going to be in the forefront of the series. But what about characters who are just from the books and not Peter Jackson’s movies? Could they be introduced on screen in this series?

Why The 2008 'Clone Wars' Movie Is A Good Movie
It is safe to say that almost everybody, if not all, who watched the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series enjoyed it thoroughly - from the profound exposition and humanization of the clone troopers, revelation of a murkier side of the Jedi Order amid the war, and incorporation of numerous engaging story arcs, it is rather hard to imagine that the series had a controversially rocky start in the form of the 2008 Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie, a production that garnered only 18% on Rotten Tomatoes. However, despite its flaws and well-justified criticism, The Clone Wars movie certainly has its merits and is holistically a good movie.

Ryan Reynolds Has Broken Silence About 'Deadpool 3' Saying That Updates Are Coming
While Kevin Feige and the filmmakers working within the MCU seek to make uplifting, family friendly superhero movies and shows, Ryan Reynolds and his portrayal of Deadpool do nearly the exact opposite. The films are certainly still uplifting, and fans loved the first two Deadpool films and their brash, loud mouth and lethal main character. However, it is at the "family friendly" junction where Deadpool and the MCU greatly diverge. While he may have the looks of Freddy Kruegar, Deadpool won over audiences with the determination and filthy wit of the character, awesome action sequences, a fresh take on the superhero genre, and the perfect amount of gratuitous violence.

How The Lightsaber Was 'Forged'
Star Wars fans know the in-universe process of how a lightsaber is forged. A Jedi finds a kyber crystal and uses it to construct their own lightsaber. In the old days, Jedi younglings would go through a rite of passage called “The Gathering,” where they would obtain the kyber crystal after facing their deepest fears and insecurities. After the fall of the Republic and the Jedi Order, the process was less formal and less refined. Although, the kyber crystal remains the core of the “elegant weapon for a more civilized age.”

Is 'Star Wars: The Old Republic' About To Introduce The Galaxy's Most Powerful Weapon?
Star Wars has always been about epic concepts. Legacy of the Sith, Bioware’s latest expansion to Star Wars: The Old Republic, introduces arguably the franchise’s most powerful weapon. Another Death Star? you might be forgiven for thinking. And why wouldn’t you? A New Hope introduced a superweapon that was hard to top: the Death Star. In early drafts of the original trilogy, the Death Star was meant to survive until Return of the Jedi. Failing that, the trilogy simply introduced another Death Star. The sequels employed the Starkiller base, which functioned similarly to the Death Star, although in some ways it was far more powerful as it could destroy multiple targets simultaneously. The prequel trilogy lacked a super-weapon, but The Phantom Menace did have a “control ship” that operated the droid army. This gave Anakin something to destroy, which made him the hero of the visceral story.
