'Back To The Future' Star Cast In 'The Mandalorian' Season 3
Great Scott! Star Wars fans were scooped with a major announcement about The Mandalorian at the start of this weekend. Veteran actor Christopher Lloyd, best immortalized as Doctor Emmett "Doc" Brown from the 1980's Back to the Future franchise, has been cast in an unknown role in the upcoming third season of the hit Disney+ Star Wars series The Mandalorian. Lloyd is no stranger to science fiction and fantasy, having had a major role as Klingon Commander Kruge in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984). Lucasfilm, which had a tradition of casting relative unknowns in its movies and series, has been bringing in more big-name stars in recent years, such as Carl Weathers (The Mandalorian), Woody Harrelson (Solo: A Star Wars Story), and Michael Biehn (The Mandalorian). The news of Christopher's Lloyd guest-starring in the upcoming season is perhaps the most exciting development of them all.

Ewan McGregor Shares His Thoughts On Kenobi Costume Element He Did Not Enjoy
The intense focus is currently on Ewan McGregor, who is set to reprise the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi in the upcoming Disney+ series of the same name. He has recently reminisced about his first appearance as the character in The Phantom Menace, which was released over twenty years ago in 1999. His chief observation about his time working on the film? His hair, or more specifically, the hairpiece (wig) that he had to wear for reshoots of the film. McGregor's memories of it were not great. As he was also working on another film around the same time, he was unable to wear his hair as short as was required for the role of Obi-Wan as a Jedi Padawan.

'Star Wars' Has Finally Revealed Han Solo's Father
The topic of fathers in the Star Wars universe has played both big and small rolls throughout the whole franchise. With the most shocking twist and reveal being that Darth Vader was Luke Skywalker’s father in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. This topic also includes getting to know more about Leia Organa’s adoptive father, Senator Bail Organa in the prequal trilogy and even the sequel trilogy with Kylo Ren and Rey both grabbling with their parentage. But one character that no one ever imagined we'd learn who their father was is the scruffy looking smuggler, Han Solo. After the film Solo: A Star Wars Story fans were content to leave Han Solo’s origin story at that. That is, at least until the Han Solo & Chewbacca #1 comic released on March 9th of 2022, revealing a man claiming to be Han Solo’s father.

The Alien Who Truly Ran The Empire
The Galactic Empire was known for its humanistic policies and mostly being dominated by humankind. While never official, many of the Empire's policies do have an anti-alien, pro-human bias. However, despite all that, one of the most powerful beings in the Empire, someone who held power over the likes of Tarkin and could make or break their careers, was Mas Amedda, Grand Vizier of the Galactic Empire, close Advisor of Emperor Palpatine, and one of the most influential people in the Empire.

"Star Wars! Based on characters and situations created by George Lucas." This was the opening line for all 29 Star Wars radio drama episodes, encompassing Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. Of course, the Star Wars radio dramas told the story not shown on movie screens. But despite the lack of visuals, they painted a clear picture of what life was like for two droids, a farmboy on Tatooine, an Alderaanian princess, and even a wayward smuggler angry at the universe. This was Star Wars on the radio, where imagination is king.
