James Gunn Provides Glimpse of DC FanDome's 'The Suicide Squad' Panel
This past June, DC FanDome officially announced that the online event would include a panel for The Suicide Squad, which is helmed by Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy writer/director James Gunn. Then, earlier this August, we got a tease from Gunn himself again that the fans are going to be seeing a glimpse from his highly-anticipated sequel to 2016's Suicide Squad. The previous film was helmed by David Ayer, whose screen credits include End of Watch, Bright, Fury, and, more recently, The Tax Collector starring Shia LaBeouf, which is still playing at drive-in theaters and on video on demand. While the first film did not get the best reception, this next one is expected to breathe new life into the IP as far as the big screen is concerned. The official logo for The Suicide Squad was also showcased in multiple languages.

Ben Affleck And Michael Keaton Set To Reprise Batman Roles In 'The Flash' Film
As fast as he is, The Flash has yet to receive his own theatrical film. It has been delayed time and time again over the years, but it is currently set to be released in June 2022. With all of the delays (even before delays were more commonplace thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic), it is understandable that moviegoers may have lost enthusiasm over the project, especially if they were not fans of the Ezra Miller portrayal of Barry Allen in 2017’s Justice League film. However, some news about the film may be enough to sway their curiosity.

'The Mandalorian' Showrunner Jon Favreau Reveals What He Learned From Marvel's Kevin Feige
Jon Favreau has come a long way in his career. Before creating The Mandalorian, which is a huge hit with Star Wars fans old and new, he voiced Pre Vizla of the Mandalorian group Death Watch in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and then Rio Durant in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Outside of Star Wars, he has directed the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Iron Man and Iron Man 2 (and appeared as Happy Hogan in both films and a few other MCU films since then). He also went on to direct Disney’s remakes of The Jungle Book and The Lion King, both of which had box office success. As such, he has become a huge asset for Disney.

I should preface this by saying that this is both a novel review (trying to be as spoiler-free as possible) and an assessment of the Poe Dameron character in general as he has been depicted across various Star Wars media.

With future Star Wars films being far away, The Mandalorian has become the thing to look forward to, at least as far as live-action Star Wars storytelling is concerned. Other live-action shows are in development for Disney+, but season 2 of The Mandalorian is what is arriving the soonest. October cannot come any sooner for those who are very hyped to see what’s in store.

Video From Marvel Entertainment Showcases Top Moments From 'Agents of SHIELD' To Commemorate The Series' End
Last week, viewers tuned in to see the series finale of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, which ran from 2013 to 2020. Surely, very few would have predicted this show lasting a whopping seven seasons. (Speaking for myself, I expected five at most, and I was totally wrong.) The show started off simply as a tie-in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Over time, it stopped tying in as much and became more of its own thing. Some fans have had their issues with the show, but it maintained its own following over the years.
