Disney Has Stolen Royalties From George Lucas’ Ghost Writer For ‘Star Wars’
Alan Dean Foster is a name that would likely be familiar to avid readers of Star Wars novels. In fact, he was the ghost writer for the first novel ever made for the franchise, which was the original film's novelization, released in November 1976 (six months ahead of the film's release. He later wrote the first Expanded Universe novel, 1978's Splinter of the Mind's Eye, which was based on ideas from George Lucas for a low budget Harrison Ford-less sequel film that could have been made had the original film not been successful. 2002 saw the release of Foster's The Approaching Storm, which preceded the release of Attack of the Clones and explains the "border dispute on Ansion."

George Lucas Was Warned That He Would Destroy 'Star Wars' With Young Anakin Prequel
Out of all of the characters in cinematic history, few are as powerful and memorable as Darth Vader. Everything about him helped turn him into a cultural icon, including the American Film Institute ranking him as the second greatest villain in cinematic history behind only The Silence of the Lambs' Hannibal Lecter. From his look to his red lightsaber to the booming voice of James Earl Jones providing his dialogue, Darth Vader is a villain impossible to forget.

Sasha Banks Is Fangirling Over Her Role In 'The Mandalorian' And We Are Too
Star Wars is, without a doubt, the biggest and most influential film series (and arguably media series in general) in the history of film. Since its debut in 1977, it has been a cultural milestone, with it still being number two on the overall highest grossing films list, behind only Gone With the Wind. Since then, Star Wars has just been a part of society in a way that few other pieces of media have. With that in mind, it would be a huge honor to be a part of the universe, especially in an amazing show like The Mandalorian, arguably already one of the best TV shows of all time, and certainly one of the best pieces of Star Wars media possibly since the original trilogy.

'Star Wars' Just Brought This Deleted Scene From 'The Rise Of Skywalker' To Life
Darth Vader has been a staple of Marvel's Star Wars comics. He is now on his third ongoing series, this one written by Greg Pak and set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. As has been the trend, there have been prequel connections and psychological study moments of the character that is Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader. Given that this story has been coming out after the release of The Rise of Skywalker, there is also the opportunity for this series to tie into aspects of the sequel trilogy.

We Finally Have An Official 'The Empire Strikes Back' Timeline
For 40 years, Star Wars fans have wondered about the timeline for The Empire Strikes Back. Going by the events of the film, the amount of time that it seems to span can seem confusing. On one hand, the chase of the Falcon looks like it could have taken place within a relatively short amount of time, perhaps a few days. On the other hand, Luke goes through some rigorous training on Dagobah, looking tired and exhausted and learning different abilities such as lifting rocks. Surely it would make sense for his time on Dagobah to be longer than a few days. But the way that the film is cut and edited has long caused some confusion. Now, we have somewhat of an answer for canon.

George Lucas Created This Mandalorian's Name
George Lucas created Star Wars and named a huge chunk of it, but it turns out that's not all in the past. According to The Mandalorian's Simon Kassianides himself, his character's name, Axe Woves, came from Lucas himself. Debuting in "The Heiress," a group of Mandalorians make an appearance, led by fan favorite character from the animated TV shows, Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) and including newcomers Koska Reeves (Sasha Banks) and Woves himself.
