Mark Hamill Shares Little Known Moment He Shared With Carrie Fisher
Princess Leia is a staple of Star Wars, and that is due in no small part to Carrie Fisher. In the original film, she was introduced as a heroin whom people could look up to, subverting the damsel in distress trope once she is broken out of her prison cell on the Death Star. This was a character who would have a strong staying power in the vast tapestry that is the Star Wars franchise.

The Last Jedi, arguably the most controversial film of the Skywalker saga and the sequel trilogy. To some, it is the best Star Wars film, to others, it is the worst Star Wars film of all time. Love it or hate it, The Last Jedi left a huge impact on all Star Wars fans. There was the killing of Snoke, Luke’s Force projection, and there was the Canto Bight scene.

10 Things You Didn't Know About Anakin Skywalker
Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One, and arguably the most powerful Jedi of all time. Much has been told over the saga that bares his name, examining his training, the peak of his power, and his fall to the dark side during the prequels. However, in the already expansive and constantly growing Expanded Universe, there is still much to learn about young Skywalker. Here are some of the lesser known facts about this powerful Jedi Knight from books, comics, and deleted scenes. These facts will solely cover Anakin Skywalker before his fall and transformation into Darth Vader.

'Star Wars' Video Series Showcases Over 40 Years Of Sound Design
The plot of the original Star Wars is simple. A farmboy leaves his home, saves the princess, and then saves the galaxy. The visual effects of Star Wars were decent when I saw the pre-Special Edition original trilogy on VHS in 1999 (the movie was made in the late 1970s after all). I would learn later how George Lucas revolutionized the field of film special effects because he had to invented a lot of techniques to achieve what he wanted to see in Star Wars. However, the sounds of Star Wars provided a solid foundation for other movie elements to build on. This was not your typical science fiction movie. Think back to the scene in Star Wars when Luke is staring off at the twin suns of Tatooine. The perfect crescendo of the orchestra still gives me chills every time. Filling in between the overall theme provided by maestro John Williams, we have Ben Burtt to thank for rounding out the rest of the Star Wars galaxy.

10 Things You Didn't Know About Darth Revan
Revan first appeared in BioWare's 2003 video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The character finally became canon when the Revan Legion of the Sith Eternal army appeared in Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker. The specific details of his backstory were still Legends, however. The rest of this article will be spoilers for those who have not completed the game, so I would recommend not going any further if you plan on playing the game (and you should play the game!)

If you have been in the Star Wars fandom within the last few years, you are bound to be familiar with Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi. That film ended up being divisive among the fandom, but prior to its release, it became known that Rian Johnson would be developing a trilogy that would explore a part of Star Wars that had never been explored before. The details as to what this means have been unknown. We have heard Johnson say that it would not be Knights of the Old Republic. But beyond that, it is a complete question mark.

What The Skywalker Family Would Have Looked Like Without Anakin's Fall To The Dark Side
Anakin Skywalker's fall to the Dark Side was the backbone of the George Lucas installments of the Star Wars saga - beginning his story as a young boy, and culminating in the climax of his redemption. It's the central heart of the Star Wars story - Anakin's path is the string that holds the Skywalker saga together in one piece. Fans watched him become the annoying teenager, then the tortured man vying to save the love of his life, and then as the young Jedi selling his soul to Palpatine. It's the most tragic of galactic stories. Anakin's turn to the Dark Side is a story that haunts the overall story - with characters from Obi-Wan to Luke wondering how and why their friend and father could fall so far.

The History of Podracing: Very Fast, Very Dangerous
The sport of podracing evolved from primitive races held with animal-drawn carts. Then came the Hanno Speeders, the predecessor to landspeeders. One day, Gustab Wenbus entered a race with a novel prototype vehicle. A mechanic named Phoebos designed the groundbreaking repulsorlift cockpit connected to powerful flaming jet engines. This allowed the podracer to reach the speed of 800- 900km/h. The gladiatorial sport of podracing was born, combining speed, adrenaline, and danger. Pilots gained fame and fortune. Crowds cheered at their flamboyant showmanship in addition to their skills at the helm. Spectators loved to see the fiery crashes, sometimes more so than the actual result of the race.

Why Wedge's 'The Rise Of Skywalker' Cameo Doesn't Work, And How To Fix It
Imagine sitting in the theater watching The Rise of Skywalker. Some of the story choices are a lot to take in, as they feel like headscratchers. At the climax, there is supposed to be this moment that feels triumphant when many ships arrive to the aid of the Resistance at the Battle of Exegol. And we even get a glimpse of the familiar visage of Wedge Antilles, portrayed once again by Denis Lawson. Except...it does not feel very triumphant. For people like me who read the Aftermath trilogy and the Resistance Reborn novel, it felt jarring. Because right before Wedge's arrival, his stepson Temmin "Snap" Wexley dies.
