Why I Loved Being A Mistress
I was climbing the corporate ladder quickly at the "AAA" rated banking institute I had been working for just under ten years. Without a college education I had to work from the bottom, as a clerk, to the current position I was in as an auditor. My reputation had been built on my system and product knowledge. Which put me in numerous projects as the lead analyst. Giving me a hand up into a world of Managers, GM's and CEOs that had no clue about the inside process but knew it was something that required immediate attention and an expert to ensure nothing fell through.

Add "Homie Hopper" To My List of Things I Became
As I stood in the kitchen cooking up some home made goodies for my daughter and me, we carried on with our typical mother-daughter conversations. Everything from the current weather, to inner circle gossip, and me driving her crazy with questions pertaining to my fashion choices for upcoming events. She gave me the same response as always, "Ma, I am the wrong child to be asking"! This response always cracks me up! Although, she wasn't wrong. My oldest was the right person to contact for any topics pertaining to fashion choices or home decor options.

The Honest Truth About Loving A Smart, Sexy, Independent Woman
Today, I once again shared my top vocal story "The Dating Diary of a 40 Something Year Old". I have almost 500 reads on this article. I know I am still just a rookie but the climb to reach my goal of being a best-selling author gets closer in my sights every time you read what I write. It is exciting to me. I am becoming more confident with each story I write and post. Writing is such an amazing outlet for me. So to know, the words I use are something others relate to, is so very cool! I am learning so much about myself as I openly share my experiences and struggles. I truly put my heart and soul into everything I write.

Keep Your Eyes On Your Boots When You Enter The Barn
When I was a much younger version of the woman I am today, my parents moved my brother and me to my grandparent's ranch on the outskirts of Glasgow, Montana. If you have never heard of this town before don't worry as most residents of Montana don't even know where to find it. The town slogan is "Come Find Yourself in the Middle of Nowhere." They truly mean it. It is 20 miles to any nearby towns, not that you would need to travel to them for anything. Glasgow is where the surrounding townsfolk come for all their needs. It has the post office, courthouse, hardware store, western ag shop for ammo, guns, boots, and more. Although you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, it truly is the only place to go somewhere other than the lake or farm.

Ladies & Gentleman, Please Fasten Your Seatbelts
I don't think you will find anyone more excited about the New Year than I am. My goodness... 2021 has been one heck of a ride. I can say that about the previous years but this one had a different tone. One of insanity. Moments that I truly could not have made up if I had tried.

All I Want For Christmas Is To Be Left Alone
Dear Santa, I know it has been a while since you have seen my name on your nice list. I truly have worked hard this year to not say anything if I couldn't say something nice and to treat others as I would want to be treated. Even though, I know this means I should expect a visit from you this Christmas Eve, I wanted to write to ask to please just fly past my house this year.

The Pattern I Need My Daughter To Break
As a young girl, I was very close to my grandmother on my mom's side of the family. My grandmother was forced into marriage when she became pregnant with my mom at the age of seventeen. My mom was also forced to marry my biological father when she became pregnant with me, also at the age of seventeen. As you guessed, I too became a mom at seventeen, however, I was not forced to marry. Thankfully, times were different when I became a teenage mom.
