How Not to Stick Out "Like a Typical American" While Overseas
Traveling is a passion for me. So far, I have visited eight countries and about to take visit my ninth. It gives me the sense of a new frontier, provides a plethora of new senses, and makes me feel like I am more culturally aware.

I Lost My Will to Write, or (Temporarily) Misplaced It.
For two years, I was writing consistently and publishing at least two to three articles a week on Medium, my blog, and (eventually) Vocal. However, my desire to write dissolved somewhere along the way. I have no idea why or how it happened, but I'm worried about how slow the want to write is to return.

I'm Here to Talk Sh*t. Literally.
I've been a full-time RVer for almost two years (so far), and one of the most prevalent topics of worry that I have encountered from newbies - like myself - is dumping the black tank. Recently, I sold Large Marge (my second RV) [link], and I found myself in a rare situation: I needed to pass on some RV tips and tricks! Normally, I do this in one of my blog articles, but this particular instance involved some one-on-one interaction. As a believer in karma and paying it back to the people who sold me my first RV (and gave me the boost of confidence I needed), it felt right to do what I could to set up Large Marge's new owner with as much confidence as I could. Interestingly, one of the most significant areas of concern for him was dumping the black tank.

Although I have to admit my superpowers are nowhere near as awesome, I would still like to brag about my new skills.

Using Writing as a Means to 'Self-Care' Works
Note: I am not a mental health professional or therapist and only comment on my experience with depression and anxiety. It isn't easy to believe that it's already been 60+ days since I've written anything, and oh boy, a lot has changed since then! In the last few months, I have:

Pre- & Post-Travel Depression
I love traveling, and I keep a countdown timer on my phone for my next adventure and when it's time to book a new one. Traveling is personal for me, and each time I book a trip and return from one, I can not help but feel a blanket of depression wash over me.

We Reduced Our Living Space from a 1,800 Square Foot House to a 43' RV and Now...
Almost a year ago, my husband and I decided to massively downsize. In fact, we sold 80%+ of our belongings strategically placed in our 1,800 square foot home and chose to live in a 43' RV.
