Bio
I am a nature loving person who finds the indoors quite suffocating after a while, I find inspiration in the beauty of a mountain, the flight of a bird or the soft swaying of a flower in the wind.

My Freedom in Nature
Working hard and keeping a clear path toward a routine is very exhausting, I move around every day making sure my daily chores are complete, yet the day ends and there are several things I have not finished. It is a typical morning, get up go to work at a job that is good but draining, come home and complete the house chores, spend the last hours of daylight between cleaning and cooking, then late at night go to bed and try to relax and unwind before passing out, but since my day was spent on everyone else’s needs my brain decides that now is the time to figure out if I am ever going to write that book or begin my career as a copywriter, and before I know it’s 2 in the morning; I am off tomorrow but must get up at 4:30 to drop off kids at work, then run errands and attempt to finally rearrange the kitchen to fit everything into a nice organized setting. There’s also laundry, and cleaning, again my mind is running off to find what makes me happy, it’s late, get some sleep I tell myself...

A new Human Race
The year had begun with weather changes that some viewed as omens of things to come, rainstorms in dry-land, heatwaves in the north, and winter-like feel in the south, others simply read it as natural planetary changes. Climate change was a constant topic on the news but nothing on the media could have prepared us all; for the Darkest day that lay ahead.

Roxie the raccoon who was really a “cat.”
Yup that is how I was introduced to this furball, the box read RACOON, I was so excited and sad at the same time. See a few years back I had received a kitten barely a few weeks old, who came to my home and tore the place apart unintentionally on his first day there. Because I thought he had gotten lost under the sink wood plank. He did not but the plank was now broken. Anyway, this is for another day. I had to give him up after a year, and so I swore I would never get a pet again, it was too heartbreaking.

Happily Married
It was a sunny day in June, and thought it was just us, we both knew it was right and promising. Our wedding day was the festivity of the day, for us anyway; my family not present, our friends not available, with us only our neighbor and your dad. A quiet little gathering to sign us up in the name of “Love” to a list of couples who have done the same with hopes to make the best of it because “We Love each other”.

Strength Through the Times
This is a letter to Heaven, hoping to reach you in thought, just like I do every day. this is something that should have been written a long time ago. I should have taken the time to ensure nobody forgot where we all came from and who was here before us.

A day in this world
Today is a day that I shall never forget. I woke to the alarm at 4:30 am as usual. I felt tired yet inspired. I dropped off the kids at work and drove back home; I saw the sun starting to light up in the horizon, I was still tired and headed back to bed. But I could not shake the feeling that I needed to do something different. I finally got up at 8:30 and headed to shower while the sounds of the birds outside made me feel like I was missing out on the best morning ever.
