The Mind Domes
“There weren’t ALWAYS dragons in the valley”… There weren’t always a lot of the unique creatures we see now in Phoenix, AZ before the multiple UFO sightings and the overnight materialization of what was immediately referred to as one of “The Portals”. Dragons were just one of the creatures commonly projected by the collective consciousness of the citizens. As employment was replaced by experiential fantasy since alien technology automation was freeing others daily from the work grind the fantasy areas open to the public thrived. The Portals are what made travel in seconds worldwide a reality as one had materialized at every popular destination.

“Missed the Boat”
As the servant packed never before had such an opportunity been so close! To actually be offered a job on the Titanic was a dream come true. Others had applied and tried every dirty trick in the book from intercepting mail to spreading rumors trying to take ANY opportunity from each other in the run down, cheap, boarding house. Somehow, everything still came together and the dream opportunity was now a reality.

“The Haunting At Lookout Lake”
“Lookout Lake is one of our towns few tourist attractions so we don’t often talk about it’s history with outsiders!” the librarian said loudly in what was almost a scream then quickly covering an embarrassment caused red faced mouth with one hand due to the volume. Right then I knew I was on to something. I asked to see any information they had and trembling from either fear, old age, or both the librarian led me to the back where old microfilm machines and rotting newspapers were and provided me with a pile of information to sort through. I had just acquired the property from an online auction and was surprised at the low price and wanted to learn more about it. By the librarian’s reaction I knew then I was about to learn more than I’d bargain shopped for.

The Magic Pear Tree
In a very secluded forest there was a magical pear tree. Trees are known to live for extremely long periods of time undisturbed and the magic pear tree was no exception. The magical energy of the tree was so strong the fruit it bore yearlong was practically glowing a golden color. One day a group of explorers stumbled upon the tree and partook of it’s fruit. When they did the spirit of the tree spoke and amazingly addressed each of the explorers by their name without being told. As they stared with their mouths agape in disbelief the tree told them they may have one wish but to keep the tree a secret.

The Green Light
Since the extraterrestrials arrived nothing was the same. Things weren’t better or worse merely… Different! The oddest change was a bright green light that seemed to appear daily in the wee hours of the morning. With all the other changes that was the least of anyone’s concerns.
