Art Entrepreneur and Auctioneer David Kovats is launching a new gallery space in London’s West End this December. A Sotheby’s graduate and professional, David wishes to introduce a gallery model and space that focuses on month-long rotating solo exhibitions with an immersive and interactive character. The gallery will open to the public on the 9th December. It is located at 80 Long Acre in Covent Garden.
BoWB, is announcing its upcoming digital programme, entitled Art Pluriverse: A Community Science Series. As the second edition of the Biennale, that was going to take place in Ioannina, Greece in October 2020, had to be postponed, the organisation sets a month of digital events, as part of its year-round programme. Art Pluriverse is the title of a community science series about intangible cultural heritage, starting in December 2020. The official website will be launched on September 17th and the programme will be open to the public on December 3rd.
Heikedine Günther recently presented her solo show in the heart of Basel, Switzerland, at Projektraum 54. There was a selection of 20, mostly new paintings and one sculpture, filling a space of more than 350 square meters in the beautiful city of Basel. Drawing inspiration from the connection between abstraction and natural forms, Heikedine shared with the public her works of art, including paintings, sculptures and her books. At the opening night, there were more than 200 people visiting, despite the pandemic, following the necessary measures to make the event run smoothly. The event was supported by Visarte, the professional association of visual artists in Switzerland.
