From Board Game to Video Game, a Breakdown of the New Jumanji Trailer
We are now in an age where enough time has passed where a lot of the classic films we held dear to our hearts that came out back in the 90s are now being rebooted/remade as the film technology we now have allows us to take these films and give them a huge upgrade. Just this year we have seen Beauty and the Beast make a huge impact in the box office where instead of an animated film, we got the same story with the same beloved songs in a live action film.

As the countdown starts to one comic books biggest battles, the Marvel films are starting to piece together where we have last seen characters and the arrival of Thanos. Thor: Ragnarok is its own standalone film focusing more on the comedic destruction of Asgard and it's newly established king but it does set up some ground work for Infinity War.

Top 10 Rom-Com Anime to Get You Hooked
I first discovered the world of anime in middle school when I stayed over at a friend's house and she and I decided to start something called Ouran High School Host Club. That was it. I was hooked. I still remember us binge-watching it and crying because we were laughing so hard while watching the anime. Since then I haven't stopped watching and my world of anime has grown much bigger.

How 'Wonder Woman' Gave Me Hope for Women In Film
Walking into the theater, preparing myself to see the film that women have found so powerful, I had some pretty high expectations. I also had heard that many women had gotten pretty emotional while watching this film so I was anticipating feeling some sort of emotional wave that would pass through me as I first watched the film. Not only did I cry multiple times throughout the film, I discovered a new type of feeling of empowerment, a feeling that I have never felt before while watching a film in theaters.

Just Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man
Getting to see Spider-Man: Homecoming at an advance screening with die hard superhero fans and with adults decked out in any related superhero clothing, really made the movie even that much better. You knew you were seeing the film surrounded by people who were actually very invested in the film franchise and the Marvel Cinematic Universe as conversations of which Spider-Man film was better and who is the better Marvel hero took place before the film started.

Top 10 Must-Watch Studio Ghibli Films
After watching so many films and studying many more while I earned my degree in Film Studies, I got to thinking about what really got me so interested in film in the first place. I remembered watching Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service so many times when I was young that my grandmother gave me the nickname Kiki, which my family still calls me to this day. Studio Ghibli has never once disappointed me with their films, I may not like some as much as others, but I've liked them enough to start collecting every film they have ever produced.

'Transformers: The Last Knight:' Another Disappointing Installment of the Franchise
You'd think that after the third installment of a film franchise that if the general reception of the film starts to decline that the studio would decide to just leave it at that. But if the franchise is still turning a profit no matter how badly it is received by critics and viewers, why should they stop producing films that are continuing to make the studio millions of dollars?

Life Isn't So Bad Compared To Those On 'Shameless'
First of all let me state that I really didn't think I was going to like this show based off what I knew, which was that it was about a deadbeat, alcoholic father with a bunch of kids and that was it. I finally gave it a chance and it took watching the first two episodes and one shocking scene that got me hooked. I have now spent the past two weeks watching Shameless every day after I get home from work.

I am a die hard fan of Indiana Jones and have been searching for a game that would both satisfy my need for historical adventure plus have engaging gameplay. The Uncharted Series satisfied both those needs as following Nathan Drake on his adventures to find treasure and uncover the truth to tales told by his mother, and gave me the games that had me up late playing through to find out what happens next.
