When Victoria Newman refused Billy's proposal and opted instead on a commitment ceremony, many viewers wondered where this popular couple was headed. Now it appears the writers for The Young and the Restless are pulling "Villy" apart by pushing them in different directions. Vicki is consume with running her father's corporation and her non husband has no idea what he wants to do. He walked away from Jabot and on Wednesday had what looked like a bucket list. One of the items on it was for him to figure out what he wanted out of life.
Ridge Forrester recently moved out of the home he shared with his wife Brooke and is now living in the Forrester mansion. Shauna Fuller is residing in his father’s guest house on the same property. The two shared a kiss after Thanksgiving dinner and now Quinn is begging her friend for details. Shauna believes if she does not rush Ridge, things might get serious between the two. Longtime viewers of The Bold and the Beautiful know that the relationship between Shauna and Ridge is not going to last, if it ever gets started. In the meantime, this leaves Brooke on the prowl to do what she always does, which is to steal someone else’s man. The problem is that there is very small selection for her to choose from.
On Sunday, General Hospital viewers were stunned when Perry Shen implied on social media that he was leaving the ABC daytime drama. He now says his comments were a joke that went horribly wrong. Fans may have gotten a hint of the truth on Wednesday after Brad emerged practically unscathed and Lucas is in a medically induced coma. Celeb Dirty Laundry says that Shen apologized for the error which set off a firestorm of rumors regarding Wiley's future. The actor said he had no idea his statement would be interpreted in the manner that it was. Devotees of the Port Charles action were correct, however, in assuming that Lucas would end up in a coma, but it's not known if he will regain consciousness or will remember that Brad told him the truth about their son.
During the General Hospital Thanksgiving episode, Jax showed up uninvited to Sonny and Carly’s home. He claimed to be looking for his daughter who happened to be out with friends. As usual the two men were tongue in cheek and sarcastic with each other while the woman they both love is always being their referee. When Sonny left because Kristina called him to come to the hospital, Carly tried to reason with her ex. She told him that if her husband ever finds out that Nikolas is alive and staying at Jasper’s house the fur will fly.
During the past few months spoilers for The Young and the Restless as well as many viewers have offered scenarios of what was going to happen now that Theo has been identified as Dina's grandson. Some believed he would go to Paris to work with Ashley, others suggested he might hook up with Lola although the chances of that seem slim. Most people thought that he might catch Summer with Kyle or that she would simply dump him. Last week Ms. Newman seemed annoyed that her boyfriend wanted to flirt on the job and did not seem to be taking things seriously.
When Doug Williams was brought back to The Young and the Restless, fans expected to see him in relevant storylines. Instead, his character Paul, only shows up to arrest the bad guys. Michael and Lauren have also been on the back burner. They may obtain a little more screen time once their son Fenmore returns to Genoa City. Viewers understand that the Abbott’s and Newman’s are the core families in town, but Paul and Lauren have been around a while and Michael is not too far behind them. Last week Jack named Lauren Co-CEO of Jabot along with Kyle but she has not been seen even once in the office. Fans have a hard time understanding why the writers don’t give these veterans great storylines. Mishael Morgan is a fan favorite but has not been on the show as long as Doug Davidson, Christian Leblanc and Tracey Bergman. Her new character Amanda Sinclair has been front and center ever since she first appeared.
