Cielo púrpura
Summond by a dream Every night at midnight the purple clouds came out to dance with the bluish sky. The ocean absorbed both colors as the waves crashed against the shore in a cobalt or sapphire hue. This was the wonder and magic of Cielo púrpura a little Island just off the coast of Puerto Rico. Kileshya stood watching the beautiful sight as the wind whipped her long flowing dress. Her journey to this place had begun a year ago when she began having the same dream at least twice a week.

A miracle took place before our eyes with Butterscotch the neighborhood cat.
A tragedy almost happened in front of our eyes I was walking to the store on Sunday afternoon with my two youngest grandchildren when a neighborhood cat began following us. My granddaughter had named this cat Butterscotch and after she stopped being skittish and would come near and on occasion, we give her food and water. I have an indoor cat but also have compassion for the kitties that others have abandoned. Butterscotch at times will follow me as I walk but had always stopped at the end of the block and would not cross the street.

A capsule relegated to time
Tic Toc The Steve Miller Band song Fly Like an Eagle tells us that Time keeps on slipping slipping slipping into the future. And he did not lie. The idea of a time capsule placed in the earth in 1973 that will be opened in 2023, 50 years later is amazing. The contents have remained intact and encapsulated until the day of the unveiling. Life and time have marched on but whatever is inside is unscathed by life happening above ground. With each tick of the tock the old-fashioned hands on a clock moved along through seconds, minutes, hours, days months years, and decades until the moment of unveiling is at hand. This Haiku sums up the time capsule experience.
