'The Young and the Restless' Fans Still Waiting for More of Paul, Lauren, and Michael
When Doug Williams was brought back to The Young and the Restless, fans expected to see him in relevant storylines. Instead, his character Paul, only shows up to arrest the bad guys. Michael and Lauren have also been on the back burner. They may obtain a little more screen time once their son Fenmore returns to Genoa City. Viewers understand that the Abbott’s and Newman’s are the core families in town, but Paul and Lauren have been around a while and Michael is not too far behind them. Last week Jack named Lauren Co-CEO of Jabot along with Kyle but she has not been seen even once in the office. Fans have a hard time understanding why the writers don’t give these veterans great storylines. Mishael Morgan is a fan favorite but has not been on the show as long as Doug Davidson, Christian Leblanc and Tracey Bergman. Her new character Amanda Sinclair has been front and center ever since she first appeared.

General Hospital Fans Want to Know the Truth About Trina
Sydney Mikayla portrays Trina Robinson, the best friend of Josslyn Jax on General Hospital. If she looks familiar to fans of ABC’s one remaining daytime drama it’s because she stared in the made for television movie The Gaby Douglas Story. The character of Trina has been Joslyn’s friend for a while and Robinson took over the role several years ago, but no one knows anything about her family background. Recently, Miss Robinson mentioned having her DNA tested as did Stella Henry. Curtis and TJ’s auntie said she had a close relative in Port Charles but ended up spending time with a different new family member in London.

Stella's Cryptic Words to TJ May Have a Hidden Meaning
Last week on General Hospital Stella Henry gave her great nephew TJ a stern warning regarding his desire to marry Molly Lancing Davis. Auntie Stella reminded the young man that he is black and his fiancé to be is white. She pointed out that there will be people against them and their road would be a hard one. She then kissed Jordan's son on the cheek and gave him a big embrace. Something about the way the exchange took place gave the impression that trouble is coming for Sean Butler's biological son.

'General Hospital' Turkey Day Episode Did Not Disappoint
Turkey day on General Hospital came on Monday, December 1st and with it some exciting drama. Things were pretty tame at the Corinthos home, where Sonny, Carly, Josslyn, and Michael, filled Dev and Sasha in on the Quatermaine tradition of eating Pizza for Thanksgiving since the mid 1990s. Sonny was sad that Mike had to be taken back to Turning Woods and Carly tried her best to help him deal with his father's declining condition. Meanwhile Julian and Neil put the pieces together and figured out Kendra is Kiefer's sister, but they were unable to locate Alexis who checked herself out of the hospital.

Genoa City Experiences Turmoil During a Blackout
According to Soaps In Depth a blackout during a snow storm this week will be quite revealing on The Young and the Restless. It appears this will be a turning point in the "Villy" relationship and there may be no coming back from it. The writers can't seem to let this couple be happy and even had them do a commitment ceremony instead of getting married again. Now it appears that when the lights are out during the storm, both of them may have to reassess their feelings. Billy has been acting out of character and it looks like his dark side will return. Now that Victoria is the CEO of Newman she may feel adventurous and want to take risks.

Jane Elliot Returns to 'General Hospital'
Soaps She Knows at Soaps.com gets their information directly from the studio. The spoiler says that fan favorite Jane Elliot will soon return to General Hospital. No information is available regarding her first air date or how long she will stick around but fans will be delighted. The Quatermaine household has lost some of its edge since Edward and Lila's daughter left Port Charles two years ago. She went to Paris where she ran into Luke Spencer and it's assumed they rode off into the sunset together. Anthony Geary who portrayed Luke had said he would never return to the ABC daytime drama once he retired but he came back for that two minute scene where his "Spanky Buns" walked into a cafe and saw him.

Perry Shen Says Goodbye to 'General Hospital'
Celeb Dirty Laundry is reporting sad news for General Hospital fans. Perry Shen has confirmed he is leaving the ABC daytime drama where he portrayed Brad Cooper for seven years. The actor said goodbye to his fans via a blog post where he said he would be eternally grateful to fans as well as those in front of and behind the camera. Last week Julian Jerome cut wires on his son in law's vehicle, which most likely were to the brakes. It is believed that Brad and Lucas will be arguing as they drive and the brakes will fail. Julian obviously has no idea that Lucas will be in the car and he will be torn up about putting his son in danger.

Theo Could Still End up in Paris on 'The Young and the Restless'
Those who write for daytime drama often have an end game for characters. Fans of The Young and the Restless had noticed for at least a year, that Cane Ashby was being shoved out of Genoa City. Sometimes the writers allow the storyline to seem to be headed in a certain direction, then flip the script leaving viewers bewildered. There are other occasions where those who pen the dialog seem to be unable to find the right fit and all of these could be true in the case of Theo Vanderway. He came to town as Kyle Abbott's former party buddy, then became obsessed with trying to break up "Kola." He hinted at things about the past to Lola, began dating Summer who is Kyle's ex wife, then brought Zoe to town.

Daniel Goddard May Return to 'The Young and the Restless'
The Young and the Restless has left and open door for both Colin Atkinson and his son Cane Ashby to return to Genoa City. For now, however, one man is as he said it, "On the lam" and the other is out to clear his name. Soaps She Knows indicates that Devon will be searching for Colin, so even though Tristan Rogers has no more current scenes, the saga of Katherine's will continues. On the episode that aired Thursday, Colin phoned Chance and happily told the federal agent that he was free and about to catch a plane. Mr. Atkinson had been apprehended by the authorities while in the Maldives but he says he escaped because his handcuffs were never locked.

Empaths Part 2: Preparing for Crowd Trauma
In part one of this series I dealt with the signs that indicate you may be an empath. In part 2 the focus will be on how to maintain when you are in crowds where there is a lot of negativity. Depending on the culture you have been exposed to you may have head the following: In today's culture terms such as positive and negative vibes or energy are popular. In some church denominations they teach that people can drain your spirit or attempt to decrease the "anointing" or power of the Creator that is flowing through you. Healthprep suggests that empaths learn how to handle their extreme sensitivity because we often feel worse than the individual we are feeling empathetic about. This causes those who have this unique ability to feel as if they are carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders.

Signs You May Be an Empath Part 1
As a child and even to this day I have always been over sensitive. I cry over situations that don't seem to bother others and I can often look at someone and tell what they are going through. Once a woman stood up in church and as she began to walk across the sanctuary, she stopped abruptly, put her hand on her side, squinted her eyes and winced as if in pain. I told my husband that cancer had returned and was in her bones. A few months later the pastor had this woman stand up and said, and I quote: "The church didn't know this but the cancer came back and was in her bones." The church may not have known, but my husband and I did.
