Welcome Sweet New Year I Greet Thee In Song
As 2020 transitioned into 2021I made a decision regarding New Year's resolutions. I would make only one and work hard to fulfill it. The song Welcome Sweet Springtime came to mind. The first line is; "Welcome Sweet Springtime we greet thee in song." I decided to greet each day of the New Year with a song. Research indicates that singing can be very therapeutic and after 2020, I dare say everyone needs a little music therapy. The Carpenters had a hit with Sing a Song and the lyrics are self-explanatory.

Unmasked rioter carries Confederate flag into White House
For the past 4 years, Trump supporters have defended the 45th president no matter how bizarre his behavior became. They looked the other way and empowered a deranged lunatic to run roughshod as he pretended to govern the nation. Now it seems the chickens have come home to roost. The lawlessness that was condemned when it pertained to BLM is now being committed by those who have believed they are true Americans. Four people are dead as a result of the attack on the White House on Wednesday. The sacred building has now been stained in more ways than one.

America was warned in November 2016 that civil unrest was coming
After the 2016 election many Americans said Donald Trump would ruin the nation. Ardent Trump supporters said Democrats were sore losers because Hillary did not win. Over the 4 years these loyal Trumpateers continued their netoric. Whites were called angry and Blacks called racist. Those who stood by number 45 did not understand when other Americans said “ Not my president” and that Trump would be impeached. Today, America and the world realized that Donald J Trump is no one’s president. To those who say they did not ever see a day coming when the White House would be stormed, I remind them that they were warned and yes some US citizens saw this day as a possibility.

Donald Trump causes his supporters that storm the White House
Donald Trump said last week to wait until January 6 and now we see what he was referring to. Trump supporters have stormed the White House and made their way inside the Capital building . Government officials have gone into hiding from those who believe the election was stolen. For weeks Trump had been inciting trouble even tweeting that today was going to be “a wild one.’ The president’s niece Mary warned on CNN that things would get worse as the inauguration neared and she was correct. It’s hard to imagine that so many Americans have been hoodwinked and bamboozled into thinking the Biden win was not legitimate. This situation has been 4 years in the making and those who turned a blind eye to Trump’s rhetoric can hide no more.

Raphael Warnock's win signals a new day has come to the Peach state
The news headlines across America are screaming that Raphael Warnock is the winner in the Georgia Senate race. He has made history as the first African American ever in that position in a former Confederate state. Warnock's win signifies that those currently in the White House need to get with the program because US citizens desire a change and more desire change is coming. The Georgia voters have opted for something different and this might very well turn the tide in other areas of this nation. There was a season when Trumpism seemed to be the norm and 70 million voters indicated that they would be happy with 4 more years, Georgians, however, desired, like the 80 million who voted for Joe Biden, to leave all of that in the past.

The Young and the Restless’s Summer Newman crosses over to The Bold and the Beautiful
Spoilers for The Young and the Restless had suggested a few weeks back that Flo Fulton was going to Genoa City and crossover from The Bold and the Beautiful. It was believed that she would be the one to expose the truth about Sally Forrester but some viewers thought it more likely that Summer would go to LA and they were right. On Tuesday Sally tried to convince Jack, Lauren, and Summer that she was not out for Ms. Newman's job or her man. She blamed everything on Theo and naturally, Summer pretended to buy the story. She later told Kyle that she is more suspicious of Sally than ever and was going to take a trip to get some answers.
