Megalomania/Narcissistic personality disorder might be what’s ailing someone you know
I was recently watching one of the first episodes of I Dream of Jeannie where Major Roger Healy (then a captain) was bragging about personal possessions he did not have. Dr. Bellows the Air Force psychiatrist did not realize Roger believed the Genie, named Jeannie was going to use her magical powers to give him this grand lifestyle. The doctor thought the captain was probably dealing with megalomania. If you’ve not heard of this term that’s because it is no longer in use.

The couple moved to Paris but later, Maya and Lizzy returned to LA. and she announced that she and Rick were getting divorced.

Eric and Quin's private issues revealed
Those who enjoy The Bold and the Beautiful are good at reading between the lines. There is something going on between Quinn and Eric and some eagle-eyed viewers believe it is much deeper than what has been revealed. Eric reluctantly took his wife back after she caused problems for Ridge and Brooke and the couple have not been on screen much in recent months. This past week Quinn has been inserting herself in the life of Zoe and Carter, even giving Ms. Buckingham a drink mix that caused Paris to have to cut her evening short with Zende.

Mickey Guyton is taking the country music world by storm and on Sunday night April 18, she will make history. Along with the legendary Keith Urban, the singer will co-host the 56th annual Academy of Country Music Awards. She will be the first black woman ever to host the big event. The program will be broadcast from three historic Nashville music venues — the Grand Ole Opry House, the Blue Bird Cafe and the Ryman Auditorium. Kelly Thiebaud's false positive COVID test has her off for 10 days from 'General Hospital'
Kelly Thiebaud will not be working for 2 weeks which means that her character Britt Westbourne will not be seen on General Hospital. The doctor is in a front burner storyline with Maxie Jones as they plan to pretend her baby was stillborn. LA County COVID rules are the reason the actress cannot resume her role and it's not even her fault. Kelly says that although she has not been anywhere to catch the coronavirus, she had a test to come back positive. Subsequent tests have been negative but the actress will still be out of work for 1o days.

A valuable lesson from the movie 'Purple Rain'
The 1984 hit movie Purple Rain starring Prince probably would not be received as well today. In the film, both The Kid,(Prince) and his father are hitting women. When this movie first aired I was 26 years old, had only been married for 4 years and knew nothing about domestic violence. I was uncomfortable watching Appolonia and the Kid's mom being slapped around but I had nothing to compare it to. I grew up in a community full of married couples and I never heard once that any husband hit his wife. I watched Purple Rain the other day and now that I am older I realize a valuable lesson.

Vinny continues to cause problems on 'The Bold and the Beautiful'
Joe Locicero recently said on social media that he might be back on The Bold and the Beautiful after his character Vinny was killed off. He had no idea how, but spoilers suggested that he might return as a different character or a twin. Neither Thomas nor his best friend ever mentioned a sibling but the writers could always invent one. Decades ago on Days of Our Lives there was such an outcry when Marlena Evans was murdered that writers flipped the script to say it was her twin sister Samantha who died.

Black men are more at risk of dying from PAD
The man in the photo was my husband for 40 years who passed away at age 63 on March 7 of this year. This image is from 2015 when we took a walk in a local park. My husband was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in May of 2012 and the following year was told he had PAD which is the abbreviation for Peripheral Artery Disease. He did his best to stick to a healthier diet and increase walking and exercise. He eventually also quit smoking and monitored his blood sugar closely but now 9 years later he is gone. PAD is progressive but it's possible to slow it down and perhaps even reverse it.

Willow makes a deceptive move on ‘General Hospital’
General Hospital viewers have been waiting since 2020 to find out which man Willow Tate was going to choose. The situation between herself, Michael, Chase, and Sasha was complicated at best. Once the truth came out regarding Chase and Sasha lying about having an affair things were tense for all concerned. The storyline then took a direction where it seemed that the four were going to all end up with their original partners. This was upsetting to fans who had noticed the chemistry between Millow from the first time they met and this week it seemed a decision had been made.
