One Day You'll Read This
Hey stranger, Its been quite some time since I've last seen your face. I honestly thought the image of it would fade away from my mind by now... turns out I was wrong. As soon as I close my eyes, I can see it as if you were right in front of me. These days, I'm not sure if you'll ever be right in front of me again.

10 Days Left
June 7th, 2020, 2:05 a.m. Kek Observatory, Mauna Kea, Hawaii Ben Masters was up late working to identify new star systems. It's 5 minutes passed 2 a.m. as he sits in his "office", notating his observations. Masters had always felt a certain calling in the nighttime sky and he had established a career that allowed him to listen to that calling. Tonight wasn't the first time he had pulled a graveyard shift and he knew it wouldn't be the last. Although, he could have never predicted how important this night would be. Staring into one of the most powerful telescopes on the planet, Ben slowly scanned through the cosmos.

Another Letter To My Little Girl
To my Guardian Angel, Hello again Gigi, it has been a little while since I last took the time to write to you. I'm not going to lie, the last year has been a rough one. For reasons of which I am not aware, your mother has only allowed for me to see you a little over half a dozen times. I need you to know that the entire time I have been forced to be without you has really taken a toll on me. It feels like I have missed out on so much of your life. Like I have been robbed of a boat load of time that I will never be able to get back. Whats even worse is that during this period of my life (the lowest point it has ever been at) I allowed myself to be a victim, what would prove to be one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. First your mother left me and then she took you away from me too. All of it caused me a great deal of suffering but instead of picking it up and bearing it, as the great Jordan Peterson advised, I allowed myself to be crushed underneath the weight of it. A depressing story... I know! But the good part about it is that I did not permit the circumstances to end there.

'2k' vs. 'Madden'
Over the course of the last 20 years, video games have grown to be one of the most profitable industries in modern times. Whether it's running down old ladies in your car or saving earth from a galactic invasion, video games provide players an outlet to do things they wouldn't be able to do in real life. The same holds true for sports fans, eager to experience the life of a pro athlete playing their favorite sport. Representing both the NFL and NBA, Madden and 2K have become two of the biggest franchises in sports gaming. And although Madden may have enjoyed a decades worth of a head start, both titles remain equally dominant to this day. One particular game mode that keeps fans coming back each year is the "My Player" mode offered in each series. Each side approaches that portion of their games in their own unique way. Positives and negatives can be drawn from either side. However, one side shows far more dedication and creative effort in their final product and that's what we will be looking into.

Dr. Doom Enters the Contest
In today's day and age, mobile phone games have evolved to be far more complex than classics like Angry Birds and Candy Crush. If you consider yourself to be a massive Marvel fan, like myself, then Contest of Champions is certainly the game for you. Collect your favorite Marvel heroes, with well over 150 characters to choose from. Now, with this month's most recent update, the game just added two of the most iconic characters in Marvel Comics: Victor Von Doom and Reed Richards. The addition of these two characters completes the ultimate super hero family.

A Letter to Humanity in a World on Fire
Within the course of the last several months, countries across the globe have been facing the devastation caused by thousands of wildfires. Fires raging across some of our planet's largest and most vital forests. Record temperatures continue to make headlines year after year, last July being the hottest month in recorded history. These wildfire outbreaks have been occurring throughout several different continents. Massive glaciers are melting away entirely. Yet in spite of these events, climate change is still a subject being debated amongst world leaders to this day.

Bernie Sanders Guest Stars on the 'Joe Rogan Experience'
Can you feel the burn! If you were one of the millions of people chanting this catchphrase 3 years back, then there is a good chance it's 'cause you were a Bernie Sanders supporter. During his run for the presidency in the 2016 election, the former Vermont senator gained a tremendous following for his stance on a variety of topics. Demands for free health care and free college tuition made him popular among young voters across the country. Almost every poll released during the primaries announced Sanders as the winner and with the fear of Trump as the opposition it should have been a no-brainer to elect him the nominee. However, for reasons I can't comprehend, Sanders lost in the primaries and Hillary Clinton would go on to be defeated by Trump instead. Thus becoming the first time I've ever truly felt defeated while supporting a presidential candidate. And although there were a few controversies surrounding his loss, one of the greatest political underdog stories had ultimately come to an end... Or did it? Now, with the 2020 election right around the corner, the underdog has found his way back in the race. Voicing his ideas and opinions in a louder voice, to a larger audience.

Mega Tsunami Threatens US East Coast
In the last decade, people around the world have undergone a wide scale of record-setting natural disasters. The tsunami that rocked the nation of Japan in 2011, the biggest hurricanes the modern world has seen bombarding the United States. Volcanoes in Guatemala and Hawaii, and a trifecta of earth, water, and fire in Sulawesi last year. Hell... even Russia had a close call with a meteor in 2013. Our planet has been displaying its catastrophic potential, and all of the science says that at the rate we are going... the stakes are only going to get higher, and matters are only going to get worse.

A Letter to My Ex-Wife
Time has passed... and although some would claim it to have been enough, the wounds still hurt as if they were made yesterday. The last time we spoke, you attempted to make me feel guilty for the relationship that was destroyed between my daughter and I. You claimed that no matter what I was doing, you knew that there was at least a brief moment where she was on my mind. A brief moment... If it weren't so sad it would be funny. If you only knew that I think about the two of you every minute of every god damn day.

Why Did 'Endgame' Sabotage Star-Lord?
Enough time has passed... Endgame has come and gone. With its ending came the answers to the millions of questions that have been asked by fans. Many storylines were concluded in the three-hour runtime that formed the greatest blockbuster film of all time. Hawkeye saved his family, the Hulk found balance, Cap had his dance with Peggy, Black Widow made the ultimate sacrifice and Tony... it's still too soon to speak about that, but let's just say we love him 3000.
