How to Spin a Yarn
When it comes to unwinding from the daily routine, my creative projects have always been as eclectic as my personalities. An odd quirk of being a writer is that I often feel my characters live on in my mind, resurfacing every once in a while, like whales coming up for air, to remind me they still have stories left to be told.

2020: The Year of the Brown Paper Box!
Dear Diary, January 2020 New year, same hairballs. As always, every January I am tortured endlessly by the tantalizing talk of "budgies." Human reviews numbers on her phone and mutters of the birds continuously. Yet not once am I given one to prey upon! I take matters into my own paws. I drown a toy bird in my water dish to demonstrate my wishes, but my servant rejects my gift! If it weren't for the Temptations treats, I swear I'd replace her.

I Hate That I Turned Back
In an unnamed town in Southern Ontario, I live a quiet life with my three cats, a tiny apartment and—as my sign-off always includes—too many words in my head. I'm sure many authors can relate; most days, it feels like if I don't write them down, the words will rattle around endlessly until I go mad. Unless—considering I do have bipolar disorder—maybe I am already. No matter. Spiralling thought-levels or no, I wouldn't wish to be any different.

Review: Jillian Jiggs
I'm an INFP living with bipolar. I also have some ADHD tendencies. At any given hour, I boil down to a strange dichotomy of fantastical effervescence and organized chaos before alternating to melancholy so severe it would make Edgar Allen Poe resemble Mr. Rogers.

Compasses and Collies
Chapter 3: Compasses and Collies Carrie and the caticorn left The Bunny Tree in the thicket behind them and entered the grassy sheep-pasture. A hobby of her grandparents, they raised only a handful of the animals, carefully naming each new lamb that joined the flock every spring.
