Today I sit Today I breathe Today I blink Today I hear Today I watch Today I hurt Today I heal Today I think

Trouble times and tunnel vision Echo in the great unknown. Causing fear to stir derision At each sweep of wind that's blown.
How quietly you sit there watching, You're black pupil eyes now gleaming and laughing, They dance and they shimmer in light of the sun.
Capturing the images left behind, The flood of water grips at the ankles of the earth. Consumption seems imminent As the black clouds gather over the placid lake of gray.
