My Review of "Ride the Eagle"
Ride the Eagle came out quietly in 2021. I've never heard of this movie but I thought it was an interesting idea. Also, I was pretty impressed that they could garner so many stars to play in such a small movie. It just recently came up on Crave in Canada so I decided to check it out.

My Review of "Earthquake: Legendary"
Earthquake: Legendary is Earthquake's first Netflix stand-up special. It seems to be a new stand-up series that highlight stand-up comedians that need more light. I have to admit, I've only heard of Earthquake before but never really heard his sets. This is a shame because he's been around for a long time so there's lots to catch up on.

My Review of "The Batman (2022)"Top Story - March 2022
The Batman (2022) is a very different type of superhero movie. Gone are the big bombastic super powers. Instead we have a human trying to grapple into his own consciousness to understand why he's doing what he does. We're on the ride during his journey.

My Review of "Disenchantment: Season 4"
Disenchantment: Season 4 has recently been released on Netflix. I have to admit I wasn't an immediate fan from the first few episodes of the first season. Eventually this show got its lets and I started to become invested in the characters. Pretty soon I became a fan and after season 3 I wasn't sure what they were planning to do in this new season.

My Review of "Old"
Old is a suspenseful horror movie that came out in 2021 by M. Night Shyamalan. We're kind of used to what we're going to get with his movies. There's some sort of interesting plot and it will always end with some sort of twist. It's done over and over again with all of his movies but he tends to flip the script on us now and then. This movie however felt all too familiar.

My Review of "Encino Man"
Encino Man was a pretty big comedy back in 1992. I remembered the time when it first came out. It was probably the movie that catapulted Pauly Shore and Brandon Frasier's careers. Oddly enough I totally forgot that Sean Astin was the lead character in this movie. It was a movie that I liked hwne I was a kid and after seeing this movie again I can kind of tell why.

My Review of "The Mask of Zorro"
The Mask of Zorro came out back in 1998. I remember when I first watched it and immediately fell in love with it. The 4K Blu-ray of it came out in 2020 and I knew I had to check this movie out again. With the newly upgraded visuals and audio I had high expectations for this experience.

My Review of "Uncharted"
Uncharted has just come out to theaters recently. Admittedly I am an Uncharted fan as I've played through all of the Uncharted games on the PlayStation. I've even finished them multiple times as each generation of systems will re-release the same old games. I'm a sucker for these collections.

My Review of "Peacemaker: The full season one"
Peacemaker: The full season one, just ended recently. I originally thought the first three episodes and wrote a review on those episodes. Fortunately for me there was a lot more show after those first three episodes. It goes all over the place and more importantly it was totally outrageous.

My Review of "Teen Wolf (1985)"
Teen Wolf (1985) is a movie that I haven't seen since I was a kid. Recently, for some unknown reason I had an itch to watch this movie. I don't remember this movie being spectacular but then again I don't quite remember the whole movie. Watching this movie over again will hopefully jog my memory as to why I wanted to see it so much.

My Review of "Last Night in Soho"
Last Night in Soho came out with some fanfare in 2021. Unfortunately not a ton of people saw it. Still I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into with this one. Critics adored it but the trailers didn't give much about the story. That's kind of a good thing in my books. It's a double edge sword when it comes to the popularity of comic book movies. Generally people don't discuss these type of movies so you're goin in with a blank slate. Then again these movies need more attention.

My Review of "Ali Wong: Don Wong"
Ali Wong: Don Wong is Ali Wong's latest 2022 stand-up special on Netflix. Her star is rising like crazy in the past few years. I remember seeing her special Ali Wong: Baby Cobra a while back. That stand-up special made me a fan of hers. Since then she's been doing everything. One of the biggest things she did was make the movie Always be my Maybe.
