My Review of "The Equalizer (2014)"
The Equalizer (2014) is the catalyst movie that started a whole franchise. This movie has gone on to a sequel and a TV show. I fell in love with this movie when it first came out, watching it again today gave me new insights as to why I liked it.

My Review of "Moonfall"
Moonfall is a science fiction movie that came out in 2022. I am a sucker for disaster movies and I haven't seen one for quite some time. This movie looked like it had all the disaster movie tropes that I was looking for. Excited to see this movie I came out of it with mixed emotions.

My Review of "Gran Turismo 7 on the PlayStation 5"
Gran Turismo 7 on the PlayStation 5 is the latest car simulator game by Polyphony released in 2022. I honestly didn't think they'd be able to release it this year because Polyphony had been notorious for not meeting release dates. Now with games being released half finished to be updated later, this became a reality. Fortunately this game didn't ship out half broken.

My Review of "American Underdog"
American Underdog is a biographical movie based on the life of Kurt Warner. For those that don't follow the National Football League, Kurt Warner is an American football player that didn't really get to live his dream until later on in his life. I remember his Superbowl win years ago but I didn't know they'd make a whole movie out of it. Then again why not?

My Review of "Kill Zone (aka SPL)"
Kill Zone (aka SPL) came out in 2005. I remember watching this movie a long time ago and was mesmerized by the action sequences and the story. More than a decade later I only somewhat remember the action sequences but forgot the story altogether. It was time to revisit this film and see if it holds up to today's standards.

My Review of "Black Friday"
Black Friday is a movie you probably never heard of. That's for good reason. It's a really low budget movie that came out in 2021. Despite it's low production value there are a number of highlights to this movie that you probably won't expect.

My Review of "Queenpins"
Queenpins is a movie that came out in 2021. I guess you could categorize it as a crime caper movie of sorts. What I didn't know was that this movie was loosely based off a true story. It's a shame I can't identify what was real and what wasn't but I liked what they did with some of the story in this one.

My Review of "Dawn, Her Dad & the Tractor"
Dawn, Her Dad & the Tractor is a very low budget Canadian film that came out in 2021. Although the main story talks about a specific situation, I'm sure a lot of us can still relate to it. It dives into some common issues we all have with families and the community our families live with.

My Review of "King Richard"
King Richard is a biographical movie that came out in 2021. It's based on the real life story of Richard Williams, the father of famous tennis superstars, Venus and Serena Williams. I've heard tidbits about how people liked this movie but then again biographical movies are usually good.

My Review of "The King's Man"
The King's Man is a prequel to the Kingsman franchise. I don't know how they keep reinventing themselves and not look entirely silly doing it but they pulled it off this time. The last entry The Kingsman: The Golden Circle was a little bit of a letdown for me. So I wasn't too sure about this newest entry.

My Review of "Nightmare Alley"
Nightmare Alley came out last year in 2021. Unfortunately this was also the same time the juggernaut Spiderman: No Way Home was released. Not a lot of people watched Nightmare Alley and that's a shame. This movie would have been brilliant to see on the big screens because of its gorgeous art direction.

My Review of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (Ultimate Edition)"
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (Ultimate Edition) came out a few months after the original movie release of the theatrical version. It's too bad because this version fixes a lot of the issues I had with the original theatrical release. Here you have a much more coherent story and a lot more character development that was sorely missed in the original.
