Golf is a Sport for the Sophisticated but We Play Anyway
Golf is a sport for the elite and sophisticated, but we play anyways. We’ve learned how to look appropriate so we can gain access through the front gate. Dressed in hats to shade our faces, collared shirt for him, golf skirt for me. Appearance can be deceiving because once we approach the greens our behaviors and skills take the class out of the sport.

Questions to Ask Before Reserving an RV Space
It seems humans learn best through experience. At least that is true in our case. Each time we book an stay in an RV park, we inquire about several key factors. Unfortunately, we learned that these were important to us only when they were unavailable.

We Text Picture of Dagney to Make our Kids Jealous — RVing in Retirement
When our children moved out of our house and started families of their own, the house felt empty. An eerie quiet filled the rooms. Going to work and visiting with friends, kept us busy, at first. My husband and I enjoyed the peacefulness — until we retired. Then the house seemed too quiet.

I Am Retired But I Am Not Old
This morning, I stood in the bathroom looking hard into the mirror. The corners of my eyes looked like somebody had crumbled a piece of paper and then attempted unsuccessfully to smooth it out. RV Camping Provides Moments to Appreciate Nature - RVing in Retirement
Traveling in an RV unites the purity of nature that my soul craves with the comforts my body desires by providing the luxuries I have come to appreciate. I have never been one to rough it, but I also acknowledge the influence of a campfire, birds singing, and the feel of the breeze on my face.

Travel Builds Strength to Confront What Waits at Home
My husband and I drove out of the driveway as we started our month-long adventure. Though the awareness that our responsibilities were limited while traveling through the mountains, deserts, and small towns, we kept our phones within reach knowing reception was limited. We expected to have limited contact with the outside world knowing in the event of a real emergency, we could be found. The phones worked more as cameras on our trip. When we exited the city limits, our bodies screamed for time to shut down and reboot.

Dagney is a Great Watch Dog but Fails as a Guard Dog
She sprawls out across the back of the couch watching. Her head turns from side to side, like a bobble head doll, searching the perimeter. Dagney, our fearless female warrior, rules her kingdom from her couch throne. She watches for threats, waiting vigilantly to attack.

Never Be Bored on a Road Trip Again - RVing in Retirement
A while back I shared an article titled Why Does the Road Curve in the Desert? I asked readers to share how they spend their time when traveling long distances. The responses were creative, humorous, and inspiring. Below I share some of the responses and provide links for further investigation.
