The Family History of Dr. Anthony Fauci
Dr. Anthony Fauci was born December 24th, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York to Stephen A. Fauci and Eugenia Abys. Dr. Fauci attended Regis High School on the Upper East Side of Manhattan where he was the captain of the school's basketball team. After High School, Dr. Fauci attended the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts where he earned an Bachelor of Science Degree in Classics in 1962. While attending Holy Cross, Fauci made Dean's List, and was a member of the Outing Club, the Aquinas Academy, the Knights of Columbus, the Biology Society where he served as Treasurer, and was on the Junior Prom Committee.

The Family History of Former Vice President Joe Biden
**Please note: This article is not an endorsement of the Former Vice President or any candidate for President.** Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was born November 20th, 1942 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to Joseph Robinette Biden Sr. and Catherine Eugenia Finnegan. After the Scranton area fell into decline in the 1950s, Biden and his family moved to Claymont, Delaware before eventually moving to Wilmington, Delaware. Biden attended the University of Delaware where he was a double major in history and political science and where he played football as a halfback for the school's freshman football team. Biden would go on to attend the Syracuse University School of Law and would graduate in 1968.

The Paternal Ancestry of Michael Jordan
Michael Jordan was born February 17th, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York to James R. Jordan and Deloris Peoples. Michael and his family would soon move to Wilmington, North Carolina when he was just a toddler due to an increase in crime in Brooklyn. By Michael's sophomore year of high school he was 5'11 and was believed to be too short for the varsity basketball team at Emsley A. Laney High School. Michael would instead join the Junior Varsity team where he averaged 40 points per game becoming the star of the team. This, combined with Michael growing four inches over the summer, helped Michael earn a spot on the Varsity team in his Junior year. In his Senior year, Michael was recruited by several colleges but chose to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Michael would go on to be drafted 3rd overall by the Chicago Bulls in the 1984 NBA draft. Michael would go on to play 14 seasons with the Chicago Bulls and 3 seasons with the Washington Wizards. Michael also played on the United States Olympic teams in 1984 and 1992 where he won a gold medal at both. Currently, Michael is the majority owner of the NBA team the Charlotte Hornets.

The Maternal Ancestry of Steve Carell
Steve Carell was born August 16, 1962 at Emerson Hospital in Concord, Massachusetts to Edwin A Carell and Harriet Koch. Steve's father worked as an electrical engineer and his mother worked as a psychiatric nurse. Steve was an avid hockey and lacrosse player while in high school and would even play hockey in college at Denison University. Steve majored in history at Denison but his love of history dates back to his youth when he part of a reenacting group that reenacted the 10th Regiment of Foot, who were a part of the Royal Lincolnshire Regiment of the British Army.

The Paternal Ancestry of Actor Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Reynolds was born October 23, 1976, in Vancouver, British Columbia to his parents, James Chester Reynolds and Tamara Lee Stewart. His career began in 1991 on the Canadian teen drama Hillside, which would later lead to guest appearances on the shows the X-Files and The Outer Limits. Reynolds would later transition to film starring in movies such as Van Wilder, The Amityville Horror, and along-side actress Sandra Bullock in the 2009 comedy, The Proposal. In 2016, Reynolds starred in the critically and commercially acclaimed film, Deadpool as the title character. Ryan Reynolds married actress Blake Lively in September of 2012. They have two children together, James, born in 2014, and Inez, born in 2016.

The Maternal Ancestry of Basketball Legend Kobe Bryant
Kobe Bryant was born on August 23, 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Joseph Washington Bryant and Pamela Cox. He also has two older sisters—Sharia Bryant, born March 19, 1976, and Shaya Bryant, born July 30, 1977. Kobe first entered into the national spotlight while he was attending Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, PA. During this time, he became the first freshman in several decades to start for the school's varsity team, and was named Pennsylvania's Player of the Year in his junior year. When he was just 17, Kobe made the decision to forgo college and enter into the NBA draft. Kobe Bryant's career began on June 26, 1996, when he was selected 13th overall by the Charlotte Hornets. Now, for those of you who followed basketball in the 1990s and 2000s, you know that Kobe would never play for the Hornets and he would be traded to the Los Angeles Lakers just days later. He would go on to play for the Lakers for 20 years and will go down as one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
