Alexander Hamilton The Musical Soundtrack Review
"What are the odds the gods would put us all in one spot Poppin' a squat on conventional wisdom, like it or not" Alexander Hamilton the Musical was released to Disney Plus due to the pandemic and I cannot express in words how much this musical has inspired me to keep moving forward no matter the distractions, challenges, or judgments around me. Delivering greatness with its all inclusive cast of mostly Latinos and African Americans; the history shown in Hamilton is the perfect representation that there has been little change between then and now.
The Modern Day Vampires.
An emotional vampire, no not the blood sucking monster that you're used to reading about these days, (or in the case of twilight, the glittery hunks); This vampire does pretty much the same as the above mentioned blood suckers only instead of blood they gain strength by feeding off of your emotions.
How Could You?
I look at his smile like yours, The brown eyes and kinky hair like yours. I look at The way he tilts his head like yours,
How I Overcame My Guilt Of Being A Single Mother
I was young when I had my oldest son. Barely 19, working minimum wage, living with a family who kept begging me to abort him.
How I Teach My Son (His)tory
My eldest is just old enough to understand the difference between him and the child sitting next to him. He's becoming vocal about what he sees and perceives as unfair and unjust while also voicing the need for, in his words, for everyone to just love each other everyday. Sadly, my goofy, beautiful, spirited child is also standing on the line, in what society normalizes, between cute innocent child and possible threat.
I Named My Fish Joey Pacey And Dawson
What Is Dawson's Creek? Dawson's Creek is a coming of age teen drama mostly based, as the title states, on one of the main character's (Dawson's) Creek. It follows bestfriends Dawson, Joey, Jen, and Pacey as they maneuver through love, heartbreak, and making it out of their small coastal Massachusetts town. The show begins with the 4 entering into high school and ends with them figuring life out during/after college.
It's A New Year And I'm The Same Me.
The new year is here again and I'm still the same today as I was yesterday. Yeah, I've grown in some ways but not enough in the ways that actually matter. Like most people, when creating my new years resolution I stick to it for about a week or two and then it magically disappears into thin air like it never existed; Or if I designated an accountability person I hide from them until I feel its safe to show my face without them questioning my so called resolutions.
To Love Thy Neighbor Like One Loves Themselves
Times Were Tough It was at a time when I had just lost my job and as a single mother with 2 boys and no support system I just knew that we were going to be homeless. I had enough money in my account to pay rent, get some groceries and put enough gas in my car to get us to do both and get home. I was staying in income based apartments so my rent was only 700$ but when you're jobless it might as well have been a million dollars. I was lost, afraid, and an emotional wreck.
