If the Shoe Fits: How Clothes Make the Leader
When first asked about fashion, it’s unsurprising that the first thing people think about is the clothes. How each individual has their own different style and take on how they dress and how they choose to look. Some people see it as a hobby to spend money on, some see it as a basic necessity, and some see it as their livelihood. It’s a part of our lives that’s unavoidable and like humans – it constantly changes to reflect the times. With that being said, it’s unsurprising that fashion can reflect the psychological, sociological, cultural, commercial, or even political state of those who wear or design it.

Virus Trending: Earning Money In The Middle of A Pandemic
Every day we see the world heading towards a global recession with the unemployment rate soaring and the quarterly economic state plummeting. Many major companies find themselves declaring bankrupt such as Victoria's Secret in the UK and Pizza Hut in the US, proving to the world that a business no matter how big is effected heavily by the pandemic. But in this seemingly dark decline, we see a rather interesting phenomena that's taking over, with many people opening online stores and services on various social media sites. The popularity of these small pop-up online stores are steadily increasing with no taxation from the government, making it an ideal source of income for people who have nothing much to do but are stuck at home. With people restricted to their homes, they're given plenty of time to create their own business ventures within the walls of their living area in the hopes that it might give them a sense of normalcy and purpose they crave. Although older online marketplaces are available such as Etsy, E-Bay, Patreon, and Amazon, there's a higher marketing and exposure rates for products promoted on social media sites such as Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.

Harry Potter and The Spell of Influence
"Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home" Those words will always manage to cause chills to run down the spines of every Harry Potter fan. The words of JK Rowling at the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 will forever be the sentence that can cause my eyes to instantly go glassy. Hogwarts had always felt like home to me, more than my actual home ever had been, hearing those words felt like comfort, reassurance, and acceptance.

Finding Myself In Isolation
Like most university students, I enjoyed the first week of isolation social distancing. After just a few weeks of coming back and dealing with toxic people, not sleeping due to assignments, and killer lecturers, I felt some sort of happiness that I wouldn't have to handle most of that until the end of semester. I started losing my mind around the third week. Online classes had me lose most of my focus and I found myself spiralling into a deep pit of depression that I haven't fallen into since the end of last year. I felt useless as I had four mental breakdowns in one day, my habit of self-harm came back, and it didn't help that the economical state of the world was crashing more and more each day as the cure to this virus was yet to be found.

Stepping Out of the Friendzone
Nearly everyone's been in it and as much as everyone wants to deny it, it hurts a lot. That's right, I'm talking about being in the friendzone. Crushing or even falling for your friend/best friend is probably either the best thing or the worst thing, it really depends on their feelings about you. The terrifying realization that the feelings you have for your friend is more than just friendly usually comes in rather late. So I'm here with ways to help you get over those pesky feelings and out of the friendzone (not in this particular order).

The Forgotten Assault
I still remember my first day as a first-year law student. My head was held up high, eyes still sparkling with pride, and the infamous almamater jacket hung on my shoulders, perfect against my frame. The dream I had since I was ten years old was finally coming true as I took my first step into the building of the best law school in the country. Hailed as an intellectual hub where the brightest of minds with the bravest of hearts bonded together, studied together, all under one roof. Our professors are prolific, some with names already etched in the history books of our nation. The sense of pride was nearly overwhelming as I had one goal in my mind, to make a difference and always strive for justice. I was among those who fought for the same values as I did, in the neverending battle against injustice, discrimination, and inequality. They surely couldn't be that bad, right?
