The Wandering Fox
A flash of red dashed across the countryside, leaping in and out of the wheat fields. His heart raced for fear of an unknown danger that lurked around every corner. Finally, he reached the safety and cover of the woods and darted quickly under a nearby bush. Panting now, he licked his sore pads then groomed down his stray tail fur.

Adventures in Africa: Part 2
After we reach Kokofu we moved on to our final destination in a small village. Before long, unfortunately our friends had to leave and return to the States. They showed us the necessities of what we needed to know and now we just had to unpack.

My First School Horse
All my life I have loved horses, but not at all like a I do now. The word love is thrown around loosely in every day life; I love that sweater or I love that picture. In the earlier stages of my life, I guess, it would be more fitting to say I always liked horses. Anyways, after I met my friend Chris that all changed.

Emma's First Snow Day
I awoke early this morning, "Snow!" I exclaim. "Today is Emma's first snow!" Gently I patted the sleeping terrier beside me brushing down her brown and black wiry coat. Sleepily she looked up at me with puzzled eyes. Bending down I scooped the bundle in my arms and carried her to the dog door.

Edging Closer
The wind danced playfully around me, and the clouds seemed just within my grasp. I was alone, saved an occasional eagle or hawk that soared where no other birds dare go. The wind felt cool and soft as it brushed my cheek, and whirled past my ears. No camera could capture the beauty of this place and its magic. I looked down at my tennis shoes and then at the sparse grass around them. Distant deer romped merrily around a small pond. I could barely distinguish them for they looked like tiny dots. Farther east I noticed the most handsome horses grazing together in a large herd. Young foals and fillies danced and dashed after each other, kicking their hind legs up as they went. I bent down and picked up a loose rock and tossed it gently over the edge.

Adventures in Africa
Today I would like to tell a true story that is going on even to this very day. My family and I moved to Ghana Africa, on the first of June this year, to join the mission field. We sold everything we own including our house, car, beds, clothes, etc. Each of us got to take two suitcases and a carry on. Everything else was either sold or put in storage. Let me tell you that it was not easy for a single one us to sell our things and leave everything we have ever known. My family consists of my father and mother, younger brother and sisters.
