A chaotic room of stories. My curiosities lead me in all types of directions, creating a chaotic writing pathway. I want this place to be for experimenting, improving my craft, and sharing new ideas with anyone willing to read them.

My Nighttime Skincare Routine
As I binge watch YouTube videos of successful women who have flawless skin and impeccable morning routines all I can do is sit in envy. While I might not be a morning person (queue the two cups of coffee) I do try to stick to a nighttime skincare routine. Kudos to you out there who can wake early and get yoga, emails and skincare accomplished before your morning cup of Joe. For those of you out there who flop out of bed like a zombie, I got you covered!

Communication in the Bedroom
I am known for being a "Susie-talks-a lot" to my friends and family. While I might be a little shy at first glance, the second I warm up to you there is no stopping my mouth. I’ll be the first to admit that my stories can be annoying. Instead of going from A-Z I have to stop at L, P, and Q before getting to my actual story. However, until recently, my mouth didn’t do much of anything in the bedroom.

How to Get over the Holiday Blues
While I’m not a huge fan of the cold weather and the dry skin that is bound to follow, I’ve always been a lover of winter time. Cuddling up in a warm blanket and drinking hot coffee while snow falls delicately outside is like a scene from a movie. This being said; a lot of people, including myself, have struggles with anxiety and sadness during this time of year. Whether it is due to financial issues, family struggles, or just feeling down, the holidays aren’t always a time for joy and happiness.

Motherhood: To Be or Not to Be
“So, when are you two planning on having kids?” A question asked during holidays and events from friends and family that I dread more than anything. At 24-years-old I feel like the last thing I want to worry about is taking care of another human life. Yes, I have thought about having kids in my future, but that future is still far off. This does not make me selfish or lacking of some type of love in my life. For some reason, women get told they are ‘selfish’ if they don’t intend on having children one day. Are men treated the same way when asked?

Indecisive
Life is made up of decisions; some we make while others are made for us. What do you want to eat? Where do you want to live? House or apartment? Cereal or Eggs? Save your paycheck or spend it? Some decisions are extremely easy to make while others can take years to decide on. What do you want to do with your life? That’s the million dollar question.
