Going FTE
I have always prided myself in my career. Starting off as a pumpkin harvester, I may not have been the strongest, but I was willing to work a full day, stopping just short of vomiting. Then it was fast food where the kitchen workers would compete to show who could dominate the kitchen during rushes (and stock it when there was not a rush). On to customer service where the employees would “save” as many customers as possible (figure out why they were calling to cancel and try to resolve the issue and keep them as customers). After that, technical support, where we all wanted to be the foremost experts. Network administrator, where I had something to prove. Then onto platform and security engineer, where I became the subject matter expert for a program that was considered a complex deployment for the development and test teams. While my career did not stop here, this is where the story begins.

Traveler at the Beach
He was a traveler that never was far off the beaten path. Quiet, humble, and discerning, his ways were quite disarming. This worked well in urban places, where food and sleep could usually be gotten for free, if needed; resources were generally more plentiful.

Forette
Scyther was walking down a well-trodden path through a wooded area not far from the rock cliff he had just visited. He was troubled by what he felt, what he thought me may be enduring alone. Surely there were others posing the same question in life. Maybe it was esoteric. Or maybe humans were not capable of understanding it, yet.
