One of the best actor-director combinations in recent times
In recent times in Hindi movies in India one of the best actor-director combinations is Ranveer Singh (actor) and Sanjay Leela Bhansali (director). I am a big fan of their work. They worked together in three movies so far: Goliyon ki Rasleela - Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. I really liked the latter two of these three movies while the first one is good as well. I will briefly discuss Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.

Soccer Gods Have Mercy!!
I grew up in India for a few years before moving to Canada in 1995. I remember from my years in India that people love the sport of soccer. It is quite popular but less popular than the national pastime cricket. India has never qualified for a FIFA World Cup Championship yet. My prayer to the soccer gods is “Soccer Gods Have Mercy!! India should be able to qualify for the World Cup at least once in the coming few years!!”

The Swashbuckling Batsman
I am a big fan of cricket and when I was younger in India I used to play cricket with my friends and neighbours. Growing up I was a fan of various cricketers, including a few batsmen. My most favourite batsman back then was Kris Srikkanth. He was an opening batsman for India in the 1970s and 1980s. He was a stylish player who was very destructive. The opposition bowlers would be fearsome but Kris would dispatch their balls to boundaries with ease. He had a swagger in his batting. For me he was the swashbuckling batsman.
