2018 Was My Worst Year
From many people that I’ve either talked to or read stories about online, they agree that 2018 has been their worst year, including mine.
Feeling Alone at 21
I’ve finally learned to accept that I feel alone. When I’m by myself, I start to overthink my whole life and why I’m so unhappy. Some of the things I think about include:
A Starter Pack for a Beginner Eco-Friendly Student
Going to university is an exciting time, but it means that you have to begin your journey to being independent. That means buying your own stuff for your bedroom, university supplies, food, and drinks. But being environmentally friendly seems harder to do while being a student as you have to make the commitment yourself. But in the long run, buying eco-friendly products that are sustainable will save you money and produce less pollution.
Heartbreak, Loss and Growth
This is hard for me to type, I never thought this would be something I would ever have to write but I think it provides a lot of life lessons for relationships. Not just for myself but for anyone wanting to be in a relationship themselves.
Why Plastic Straws Harm the Planet and Eco-Friendly Straw Alternatives
Plastic straws have been around since I was born, I never knew the issues of plastic straws until I became aware of the impact plastic had on our oceans. I think many people have seen the video of a turtle having a plastic straw wedged in its noise. It was a really sad thing to see, but I really had to do my own research on the issue in order to give myself a reason to stop using these straws.
My Struggles with Thick Hair
For many people that I know, they were lucky to be born with the greatness of thin hair. Thin hair is way more common compared to thick hair, although many of my friends have wanted to create volume due to thin hair being boring and flat at times.
Is Long Distance Worth It?
A long distance relationship was not something I ever thought I would be in when I was 17 years old. Prior to this relationship, I have been single since birth. Obviously, I always wanted to be in a relationship and most people I've talked to have said that dating when you are 18 is quite late, as many start dating at the age of 12. I think that’s way too young.
Benefits of Starting to Date When You Are an Adult
Love isn't something that you can find when you step out of your front door, although it has happened to a few. It takes time, you create experiences and lessons to learn along your journey in life.
