Penn Last night had been a mess but it was a new day and Penn was sure she could fix this. Okay, so she was engaged to a man she once tried to kill and still really wanted dead. That was a minor bump in the road. At least that was what she kept telling herself well wondering the halls with Vince looking for Poppy.

Lureatha “That hurt by the way.” Lureatha could move again and her first order of business was throwing her shoes at the prick's head. To be fair he threw a canteen at her head first, and if she hadn’t been stone at the time it would have bloody hurt. It didn’t actually hurt her but she was going to make him feel guilty and think it did.

The Beginning Part 6
Lakeland 1918 Spring It had all been a legend. No one really believed the stories of the girl in stone. They knew the part of the Kline house burning to the ground and the family being killed for supposedly dabbling in witchcraft, that was true. That part had at least made it into the history books, or more town knowledge, as well as the younger son having been the only one able to get away that night. Now for the stories the boy told of how his elder sister saved him that night were less believable.

Watcher: Light was the first thing the male had seen when he opened his eyes. A pure white blinding light and then darkness. It was slow as it ate at the edges before taking fully over. He didn’t know this was supposed to happen as he screamed out in fear. He didn’t know what this was or why. Fear was taking over as he held out his arms to someone he knew should have been there to answer his cries. Nothing was there. Where was this person he was expecting to be there? Who was this person?

Grace There was a plan, just not a plan they all liked. There Grace could work with. Doing things others didn’t like was something she was good at, or so she had been told by Mother so many times.

Griffin It had taken a bit of time but Grace was finally able to get control of herself. Thank Mordrid. As the sun slowly rises they began the long walk through the forest. It was definitely safer to go through them at this time. The more dangerous creatures that roamed at night fall would have been making their way back to their caves but that didn’t mean there weren’t any who roamed during the day.

Ollie So there was no great thank you's for saving the hero's life, but really what was Ollie expecting. A parade in his honor? A great feast? They were in the middle of a forest for Christ sakes. Though a thank you would have been nice.

Grace “Gracie? Georgie? Where are you?” A small boy called out as he stayed at the edge of Fathers study. The door was wide opened showing the drying plants and piles of books stacked making the room look maze like. Some were sprawled open, some speaking of history well others only spoke legend. Many had laughed at the fact that Father kept those books with his ones of fact.

Giffin The food was interesting. That was a nice word he could use, right? First he had been stripped out of his cloth and gave lumberjack attire that was far too big, and now they were trying to feed him pig slop. Saying it was interesting was the nicest way he could ever put it.

Grace Dinner had been cut short after their conversation with Ollies family, still Grace offered to help with the dishes as any guest should. Ollie’s Mother thought it was sweet though the look from his Father made it clear what he thought on Mages. He was not a fan and if they weren’t trying to end a war that would kill them all he’d probably do the job for Lord Walase.
