Pacing outside of her door, Nash wasn't sure if he should say goodbye for the next few days or just leave. He usually didn't say bye, or care about what people thought of his missions, but she was different, and he wanted to be considerate.

The Deviants, part eight
After a week of grueling training, Ava was finally ready to go and retrieve supplies from empty homes with Nash and Galen. She inspected her reflection in the mirror, smiling. She wore all-black combat gear, which was a lot slimmer than she had expected.
The Night Club
Green lights flashed around us as the music vibrated the floor, tinting everything inside. Lifting my hands in the air, I allowed the beat to flow through me. It guided me across the dance floor, and I ignored the other people dancing around me.

"What's with the green lights?" I rubbed my eyes. My entire Shadow 101 class stood in a large training room where the lights were a cool, intense green, which irritated my eyes a little. They looked as confused as I felt, also blinking and rubbing their eyes.
