The Trick to Stop Hiccups!
We all know what it's like to get the hiccups and the inconvenience it causes. Sometimes they're gone fast, others feel like they're never going to end. I've seen people brought to tears because their painful hiccups just won't stop. I am writing this because I recently helped my sister stop hiccuping when she warned me that she was about to throw up if they kept going.

I'm Sorry to Say
Dear My Younger Self, Do you remember that morning, when you were still so young, and dad knocked on your door? He had let you sleep in, much too late on a school day. I remember well that this did not excite me, because we were never allowed to miss school. Your brother walked with you out to the kitchen, both so confused with dread in your hearts. Wasn’t it usually Mom that woke us up at 7:30 sharp? Yet now it was nearly 9, and Mom was nowhere to be seen.

The Expectations of Students
Fall break. Reading week. Spring Break. March break. There are many names for it, but they all mean the same thing; a blissful week off from school work in the second semester, usually during February or March. Some universities even have co-curricular days in the first semester, which is basically two or three days making up a long weekend to give students ‘time off’.

Confessions of a Fanfiction Writer
I have been writing fanfiction for thirteen years; sometimes I am very on top of my game, while the rest of the time I am glaring at my computer screen like it is the reason I am unable to think of anything. When I first started writing I did not even have a computer—I literally had a binder with a divider for every story I was writing at the time, which was a lot, and probably a dozen notebooks—and my ability to write was laughably terrible.
