Amanda's Reading List
Do you want to start reading more, but don't know what to read? looking for a good new book to read? Every season comes with numerous reasons to relax with a good book and a beverage of your choice, and in order to help you find your next favourite read, I have created a list of books I believe everyone should read at least once in their life.
21 Before 21
Ahead of my 21st birthday, I thought I would continue the tradition I started last year (with this post), by writing out a list of 21 things I learned this year.
20 Before 20
Inspired by this post, and in anticipation of my twentieth birthday coming up in less than a week, I decided that I would create a list of twenty life lessons that I've learned thus far. Seeing as I've only been an adult for two whole years (WOOHOO!!), and my experience has been limited to voting in a municipal election (not even provincial or federal *insert eye roll*) and setting my own doctor’s appointment for the very first time, I don't have much of my own advice to give. That means this list will be primarily composed of lessons that I have learned from other people near and dear to my heart. So without further ado, here goes!
I Took a Year Off of Social Media... And You Should Too

"Life is beautiful." "Life is worth living." "Life is special." "Life is what you make of it"... "Every life is perfect as it is."
How To Overcome Writer's Block
Some may argue that writer's block is not a real thing, that the only problem is that people want an excuse not to write or something to blame bad writing on... but I don't think that's the case.
8 Simple Ways to Stay Motivated
During these unprecedented times, social distancing has become an extremely important way to "flatten the curve" of the COVID-19 pandemic. This has meant that many people who were used to a work routine that included commuting to an office (or school) have been stuck working (or studying) from home. For those people, that can destroy motivation and make simple tasks very difficult. To make things just a little easier, I have compiled a list of eight things that can help motivate you if you have found yourself in a rut.
6 Podcasts to Listen to Now
If you have a long commute, you know the importance of having either a good book or earphones to block out the world when you just want to relax, close your eyes and enjoy a nice voice talking about something interesting that can take you away from reality for the duration of your travels.
