Who really built the Sphinx?

Does it really hold the secrets of Atlantis?

In the 1930s and 1940s, famed American prophet Edgar Casey claimed that refugees from the lost city of Atlantis had buried their secrets in a hall beneath the Sphinx of Egypt. And he said the Sphinx and the pyramids were built not 4,500 years ago, but in 10,490 BC.

He also foretold a mysterious chamber beneath the Sphinx's right paw, which he said was the Hall of Records of Atlantis. He added that when Atlantis sank, the people of Atlantis placed records of their civilization in the hall on the right paw below the Sphinx. It's like a library of human history, detailing the origins of the human race, and even all kinds of ancient technology. Edgar's prediction is that mankind will discover it before the end of the 20th century, so who is this beloved Cassie?

He is known as the sleeping Prophet. When he is hypnotized, he can see things in the future or the past. He correctly predicted the two world wars, India's independence, the 1929 economic crisis and the creation of Israel 15 years in advance. He also predicted that two American presidents would die in office. Casey died in 1945. Some of the things he predicted came true during his lifetime, while others happened after. Does Edgar predict the existence of the so-called room?

In 1998, the Edgar Casey Foundation applied to the Egyptian government for testing. Accompanied by military personnel, they drilled eight holes in a row under the Sphinx's right paw using ground-penetrating radar. When scanned with the instrument, they found nothing, but when drilling the ninth hole, they unexpectedly found cavernous Spaces in the ground. Unfortunately, the Egyptian army, who had been standing by silently, suddenly stepped in to stop them. Is there really something underneath the Sphinx? Why else would the Egyptian military be so nervous and interrupt their exploration? How many more secrets are waiting to be discovered?

The Egyptian Sphinx has the head of a man and the body of a lion. It has been recorded in two different forms, the complete version and the incomplete version. For example, when we look at him now, he has two front PAWS, but most of the time, he just shows a big head. This is because in the long history, the lower part of the statue is often buried by yellow sand, only to dig up the yellow sand to reveal its full form. Many people from ancient times, including Napoleon, to the Spanish royal family in 1870, have never seen it in its full form.

At 73 meters long, 19 meters wide and 20 meters high, the Sphinx is a very large statue. As I said, Edgar Cayce, in his prophecy, said the Sphinx was built in 10490 BC, but historians say it was built around 2558 to 2532 AD, more than 4,000 years ago. They estimate that it would take at least 2,000 people and three years to complete a Sphinx. It was carved out of a very large stone. Many people assumed that the Sphinx was built by a group of slaves in ancient Egypt, but later evidence showed that this was not the case.

In 1990, an American tourist was riding a horse near the Sphinx when he came across a low mud-brick wall and what appeared to be something underneath. After several days of excavation, it was found to be a burial chamber, and there were about 600 people inside. Archaeologists have found that these people may have built the Sphinx, and indirectly proved that these people were not slaves. The remains of cattle were also found in the burial chamber, which means that the men responsible for building the Sphinx probably ate beef and looked pretty well treated.

Most modern Egyptologists believe that the statue was built around 2500 BC by the pharaoh Kafra, who also built the pyramids of Kafra, because the head and face of the Sphinx closely resemble Kafra's. A French archaeologist once found a life-size statue in a temple in the valley. According to the theory, the statue is actually the pharaoh Kafra. The head and face of the statue are almost identical to those of the Sphinx, so it is presumed that the Sphinx was also built by Pharaoh Kafra.

Pharaoh Kafra

Archaeologists later discovered that the Sphinx was carved from a single block of conventional limestone, some of which had been eroded away over time, but its head and feet were well preserved. One theory is that the Sphinx's body part was caused by water erosion. Some scholars in the West have found extensive water erosion on the statue's body, so they speculate that the Sphinx was not built around 2500 BC, but much further back at the end of the last Ice Age.

This was once a lush plain, not the desert it is now. At that time, water was abundant, and the statue was constantly eroded by heavy rains, and even formed by soaking in water for a long time. And the water erosion of the Sphinx was caused by the circumstances. Between the two PAWS of the statue stands a stone tablet. Historical records show that the stone tablet was erected before 1400 BC. The stone tablet probably tells the story of Pharaoh Thutmose IV and the Sphinx.

Thutmose IV

Legend has it that Thutmose IV, when he was a prince, came to this neighborhood one day to hunt. After a hard day's work, he fell asleep in the shadow of the statue. He dreamed of the statue in his sleep. The statue said to him, "My limbs are buried in this sand. If you will clear the sand, I will make you Pharaoh." Thutmose IV woke up and felt something strange, that the dream was so real, and that the statue was here, as if it were really alive. Then he did what the statue told him to do, and he became a pharaoh. Thutmose IV erected this stone tablet between the legs of the Sphinx as a memorial.

The strangest thing about the Sphinx is that there are many mysterious caves around it. As mentioned before, there is a mysterious room under the forepaw, and the Egyptians are not willing to reveal any more information, so it is very mysterious. Next to the Sphinx is a tomb 30 meters deep, and even people have been down to explore it. And that, again, adds several times the mystery.

In 2009, Fox television contacted Dr. Zakia hawass to make a documentary about the Sphinx. In the film, they go to the mysterious cave beneath the statue. According to Antiquities chief Zaki, the depth of the cave is a staggering 30 meters, and the mysterious underground cave has three layers, which is not very deep from the ground down to the ground level, and the space at the ground level seems very small. Then. From the first underground to the second underground, the process will be deeper than before, and the second underground space is even wider than the first underground. There are six rooms on the second floor, and on the second floor there are two sarcophagus.

And according to Dr Zaki, there are also large pieces of the remains of people who lived 2,500 years ago. They decided to head to the third floor to have another look. They followed a long ladder to the lowest level of the cave, which was 30 meters below the ground. It was hard to believe that the ancient Egyptians had dug it thousands of years ago. The design of the three underground floors is very strange. It looks more like a mausoleum, with small channels of water on either side, and in the middle it looks like a coffin with water all over the bottom. And around it stood four stone pillars covered with ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics. The strangest thing is the sarcophagus in the middle. Who put it there? Could there be a man lying in the cove?

And according to Dr. Zaki, the sarcophagus weighs about 12 tons. How did such a heavy sarcophagus get from the surface to 30 meters underground? One more thing is that the four pillars on the third floor of the basement described by reporter Susan, which are only shown on the concept map, what kind of hieroglyphics are written on the four pillars in real life? What was written on it? Why wasn't that shown on camera? Or is it inconvenient to show?

According to reporter Susan, the third underground level is not the end. In fact, there are two extensions, two mysterious passages on each side. Where do these two passages lead? Is it possible that one of them leads to a chamber under the Sphinx's right paw? As Edgar Kay had predicted, it held all the records of Atlantis. And where does the other one go? The director of antiquities, Zaki, excitedly showed the reporters one of the secret passageways. He stood in front of the secret passageway and talked excitedly about the direction of the secret passageway. In his eyes, he looked like a child seeing his favorite toy. But just two words, the signal began to appear interruption, followed by ten seconds of blue screen and snow failure, how can so coincidence? When it comes to critical locations, the signal is lost.

When the picture returned to normal again, Dr. Zaki was silent and Susan, the reporter, began to speak, which was clearly a little strange. And why is Zaki blocking the passage with his body? To keep the camera out of view? More curiously, for some time afterwards, Dr Zakihawass kept quiet about the discovery he had been so excited about. When he was asked about it, he instead denied the discovery, which was clearly not right. Could there really be something hidden 30 metres below the Sphinx? Or was it the secret passage he introduced on camera that was the last thing the public should know?

Although Zaki Hawass's discovery is exciting, it is believed that the tomb had been discovered before him in 1945, by a photographer named Salim Hassan. At the time, the three-story tomb was filled with water, and local children used to swim there. Some of the children drowned in the cave, which attracted the attention of adults. Salim Hassan followed the lead of the locals to the site. He drained two of the three layers of the cave and saw what was inside. And then it took him four or five years to get all the water out of the third floor, so that would explain why the sarcophagus on the third floor is full of water. If water had been available when the tomb was first built, it would have evaporated without any protection.

Since Salim Hassan was the first to discover this place, did he check the secret passages on either side? If so, what will he find? Why hasn't it been published? To say the least, do the locals also know its secrets?

A hole has also been found at the top of the Sphinx's head, which records show was first discovered in 1733. The hole, which could have held a person, was estimated to be about three meters deep, so some people speculated that there must have been a large room inside the statue. So what's inside the Sphinx? The hole grew larger over time, so the Egyptian government had it repaired, but said nothing about what was inside. In recent years, many people have found many large and small holes and even corridors in the stone lion figure. What's in these openings? Where does the corridor connect to? Could any of them have something to do with Atlantis?
