For example, if you enable Do Not Disturb - feature on your iPhone, your status will be displayed in your contacts and messaging apps. The novelty of this new focus feature is to change your notification settings to limit your exposure to notifications from apps depending on your settings. A new feature called Live Text uses machine learning to find text and images so that you can treat them like regular text.

The new "Focus" feature allows you to notify people and apps you have previously shared at specific times. The idea is that if you want to read but don't want your phone buzzing at certain times, you won't see random apps that send notifications and texts from people that you don't need to hear about right now. In iOS 15, when you zoom in on an icon with an outward-pointing arrow (focus), you can tell others when they are not available.

Articles, music, TV shows, photos and any other shared with you through messages and conversations will now appear in the section Shared with you of apps such as Photos, Safari, Apple News, Music, Podcasts and the Apple TV app, helping you to access the shared information in context. The Photos app update also includes the introduction of a "shared with you" section, as well as some major updates to the Memories feature.
