Do you love apps? Everyone does. But we all have a budget. That's why I've created a list of the best free apps. To make it easier for you to find the best app for your needs, I've broken them down into categories such as photo editing, messaging, and shopping.

Your phone is full of apps, but you just can't figure out which ones are the best.

There are a lot of apps out there. Too many, really. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. The more choice you have, the more likely it is that you'll find something that fits your needs perfectly. With so many apps out there, though, it can be hard to figure out which ones are worth getting and which ones aren't worth the time spent downloading them.

That's why we've put together this list of the best free apps on Android right now. These are the apps we think you should be using — whether they're new or old, whether they're simple or complex, whether they do one thing or 20 things at once — these are all must-have apps in our eyes.

We've done all of the hard work for you.

Our list of the best free apps includes everything from a free music streaming service to a free video editor. We've done all of the hard work for you and found the best free apps for Android, iPhone and iPad. Some of these are paid apps that have been made available for free, while others are completely free to download.

If you're in the market for some new apps, or if you just want to try something different from what's already on your phone, then check out our list below. We've listed some of the best free games and apps in each category, whether it's productivity software or games with in-app purchases.

These apps are all available on Android devices (including phones and tablets), as well as iPhones and iPads running iOS 12 or later. Our choices range from Android versions of popular mobile games like Fortnite Battle Royale to social media apps like Facebook Messenger — or even photo editors like Adobe Photoshop Express.

If there's an app we missed that you think should be included in this guide, please let us know in the comments section below!

Here are the best free android apps!

Google Maps The Google Maps app is one of the best-known apps available. It’s used by millions of people every day to find their way around, and it’s also a great navigation tool for those who need to get somewhere without getting lost. Google Maps is a free app that can be downloaded from the Play Store.

The app lets you search for nearby points of interest, discover new places and share them with friends on social media. The app will also show you traffic conditions so that you can plan your route accordingly. There are also features for cyclists and drivers, so if you’re an active person who wants to use their phone as part of their commute then this is definitely an app worth having installed on your device.

You're welcome!

I'm a big fan of free apps. I've been using them for years. I've tried many, and now I only download the best ones. I have a lot of apps on my phone, but these are the ones I use most often. They're all free downloads, so you don't have to spend a dime to try them out.

Here are my favorite free apps: Google Maps for directions, traffic conditions, and estimated travel times. It also has an offline mode if you don't have internet access and need to find your way around town. This app comes pre-installed on Android phones, but iPhone users can download it from the App Store.

Facebook Messenger is my primary messaging app because it syncs with Facebook's chat feature and lets me send messages without having to open Facebook itself (which drains your battery). The app also works with WhatsApp, Skype, and other messaging services so you can send texts to friends who don't have FB Messenger installed on their phones.

In Brief...

Selecting some of the best free apps is no easy task considering there are over a million apps available online. In our feature we have reviewed all of the apps below in two categories, App Type and Top Free Apps. We've also included an infographic on how to find the best free app for you.
