If you’re reading this, chances are, you’re undecisive as to whigh 2020 Apple Watch you’d wish to buy. I mean, you’re probably researching both Apple Watch ⌚️ SE or It’s more Expensive successor, Apple Watch ⌚️ Series 6. Allow me to convince you why you should jump into the the latter choice.

The new Apple Watch series 6 is in my opinion, the most advance smart watch on the market in 2020 that will take working out and fitness to new heights as you get more familiar with its Jetson-like futuristic features!

Because when it comes to day to day life in a post-Covid world where almost everyone is working from home, most people are taken their health super seriously. So fitness is becoming an intimate and an advantageous component to our mental well-beings during social distancing.

Apple knew this and have yet delivered with a smart watch that will practically outsmart you!

What makes this years Watch unique is new tweaks with a brand new sapphire grade sensor that beams infrared lasers through your skin and back to the sensor to detect oxygen blood levels.

What makes Series 6 a better Watch than the SE?

There’s a few new features added to the new series 6 watch (2020) Apple has that the 2017 series 3,The SE, lacks! When you‘re deciding between the two watches but would prefer the very best smart watch in Apple’s 2020 lineup, then the obvious choice will be the stunning always-on OLED display watch that’ll help assist you on any workout goal you wish to achieve and then some. Just the physical and premium feel I’d notice while wearing this thing for the last few days proves my point that Apple does a pretty good job developing products that enhances our lives.

Premium watch frame finishes

Space Grey Alumium 44mm frame

The 2020 Apple Watch Series 6 comes in titanium, stainless steel or aluminum that was recycled according to Apple’s website. Also, the typical colors from space grey, blue, gold and now for the first time, PRODUCT RED.

For a more personal fit, Apple has developed a silicone rubber and braided Solo Loop arm-wrist band for $49 dollars more, where with proper measurements, can just slide up your wrist with ease plus comes in a variety of colors. So if you’re not feeling the two default size buckle wrist straps that come with your Series 6, you can spend some extra money on the more personal solo loop bands.

The Always-On Display is 2 times Brighter and frame is thinner

This 2020 Series 6 model has an Always-On LTPO OLED Retina display like the series 5 but with slightly brighter display whenever you go outside. This is nice to have it than to not need it especially while doing your daily workouts and being able to quickly glance at your watch for data without flicking your wrist during regiment. It was nice for me to rent a bike in Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and ride my bike around Point State Park while seeing the data on my 44 mm OLED display without turing my wrist As both of my hands were gripping the bike handles. Notifications were readable and clear from a few feet from my eye sight.

Wearing the Latest Apple Watch Made Me Feel Special

By Daniel Korpai on Unsplash

Compared to my old Apple Watch Series 3 and it’s 38mm flick the wrist display,I was able to clearing see what was happening on the Series Six 2 times brighter, Always On Retina Display. In fact, the Always On Display is 30% larger than the Series 3 Watch.

But more importantly I felt like a boss just wearing this around. I no longer felt as though I was living in 2017, but in the modern day decade that is the 2020’s!

I guess it feels awesome to wear any of the latest to date Apple Watches as soon as they’re released! Also The Watch frame is 11% thinner than Apple Watch SE and series 5.

New Enchanced Sensors That Read More Than Just Your Heart Rate...

By Björn Antonissen on Unsplash

The series 6 features a brand new sensor that can sense levels of CO2 from your blood. It basically beams a infrared laser to your skin, scans the flow of oxygen levels in your pulse and then beams that information back to your watch for analysis (which only takes less than 30 seconds) Your wrist has to be still in order to get a good estimate of your blood oxygen level though or else it’ll need to start the scanning process again.

With everything that has happened in the year 2020, such an advance scanner is definitely necessary for anyone looking to monitor their blood oxygen levels to determine if they’re sick with flu like symptoms or are well.( 90%-100%) Although, for legal reasons, Apple claims that their ECG and Blood Oxygen Level scanners aren’t Medical grade and should only be used to take good almost accurate estimates of your blood oxygen or pulse.

Another new app pre installed onto the watch is an ECG Sensor that can check your pulse by simply placing your point-finger onto the crown. It takes about 30 seconds for it to read and it makes this Smart watch even more jestson-ish.

Keep in mind:

The American Heart Aassociation and FDA have approved Apple’s unique scanner for practical everyday use pertaining to tracking data for workout purposes. With Apple Research consistantly analyzing data from their Sensors from willing participates of how they can improve their sensors for up and coming future Apple Watch releases, it’s hard to say if Apple is pulling a gimmick with it’s high paying customers.Even if the sensors aren’t yet officially medical grade devices in 2020, it’s the best damn thing thats close to it. Isn’t that worth the $100 more investment?

Water Proof

Up To 50 meters for 30 minutes. Although, the chance of me even getting this thing wet at a pool or private pool isn’t happening. But if it rains or something, or if you‘re washing your hands and have your wrist under the fossit, it ain’t gonna kill your watch.

Snappier Processor

Series 6 has built inside, a U1 Ultrawideband chip with a S6 SiP 64 bit core processor. Pretty much means, using Siri, Mapps, or any app will be snappy and fast. No sluggishness!

Some Other Basic Functions of Series 6

For anyone whose already had a smart Watch, its no surprise what magnficent things it can do that adds a hint of convience in our lives. But if you’re reading this and its your first time with a Smartwatch, let alone, An Apple SmartWatch, just the essential features of this thing might blow a first-timer away.

  • You can voice text anyone
  • You can call anyone from your Watch(Cellular+wifi and GPS give s you the ability to call without your phone being connected via bluetooth)
  • You can use Apple Pay seamlessly with your Watch
  • you can stream and listen to 70 million songs + live stream Radio and podcast with your watch( or via your phone where you can use your watch to control volume, pause or play tracks or playlist)
  • you can also also control your Iphone’s camera through your Apple Watch( I guess that’s a nice option even if i find it void of any real functional purpose other than to awe friends or family you flex your Watch to on holidays or other events) I’m not too sure why they made this function, just google it to find out.
  • You can access Your Picture library via your phone on The Apple Watch. Better to have this feature than to need it and not have it,I guess
  • GPS features using Apple Maps, and Find My app
  • Compass
  • A Mesntral tracker
  • a Noise decibel tracker to sense when you’re in a load location
  • So to recap the improved sensor technology:

Check your Pulse by just touching the side of the crown and an improved ECG Scanner, Apple Watch Series 6 is sure to manage your workouts and data from each session enriched in new detail throughout the day.

The Always On Display is perfect for hardcore workouts where you only want to glance quickly at your phone or just want to see the time without grabbing your phone out of your pocket.

It comes in different colors, 3 different frame finishes and the glass for the display is ion-glass, durable and the best in the industry.

    In conclusion:

After using this Watch for over the week, I can’t say that I Truly mis the 38mm frame Series 3 Watech that I’d been wearing for awhile. In fact, I’d say, this watch is everything The series 3 was except with a few new exclusive watch faces only found on the Series 6 .( plus obvious enhancments that are clearly a day from night difference better from the basic HPM reader that’s available on the cheaper SE and older series 3 models.)

If you see yourself doing super hard core workouts and using the advance heart ECG and Blood CO2 scanners for additional data for more detailed health analysis, then Series 6 is your Watch!

But if you seem to not be able to afford the pricier model, then the cheaper and stripped down 2020 basic smartwatch The Apple SE will probably be the watch for you..but it’ll never be good enough.
