Oculus Go Review!
Facebook VR has now arrived!! I hope you're as excited as I am, because this is my unboxing Oculus Go review! I am a fairly new user to virtual reality myself, but I very much believe in it's future. Imagine being able to travel anywhere from the comfort of your home and see if you actually like the place before visiting in person. Imagine a world where if you see a therapist or psychologist that you can just put on your headset and meet with them virtually. Are you a gamer? Imagine a truly immersive mmorpg setting! The world of VR has to some regard been around for decades. But for the first time in many of our lives, a truly immersive virtual world is possible.
Austin ArmstrongPublished 5 years ago in 01The Future Is Now!
When people think of the future most of the time they think of what can happen. When I think of the future, I think of Japan. Japan? Yes, Japan. Japan is way ahead of everybody on this planet. If you do not believe then you would need to read this as I tell you how Japan is in the future. The United States can learn a lot from Japan. I do not know how Japan can be ahead of us in technology when they were isolated for so long.
Miguel FloresPublished 5 years ago in 01Marpac Dohm's White Noise Machine Will Give You the Best Night's Sleep
When I had my first child, it was an absolute nightmare to put her to sleep. She was so sensitive to noises that she would immediately wake up from the sound of a pin dropping. What was worse was that we were living in a small apartment at the time and I couldn't tell if my neighbors were wild animals or humans! There were times when I actually had to hit the ceiling with a broom to shut them up. Even though I was desperate to move out, my husband and I still didn't have the money to get a house.
James LizowskiPublished 5 years ago in 01Who's Listening
The entertainment industry is scrambling for money. Commercial cinemas are competing head to head with home audio systems. Yes, there are forum posts with actual cost benefit of buying a home theater system vs going to the movie theater. The music industry is scratching for every cent they can make by cross advertising product and pushing social celebrity status. Couple all of this with every kind of person alive trying to hit it big on every kind of reality show and social media outlet available, we are faced with a hard economic fact: popularity pays and it has never been harder to be popular.
Cody HiebertPublished 5 years ago in 01Best Smart Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors for Your Home
I think I've gone through about four carbon monoxide detectors and two smoke detectors throughout my life. It was so hard to settle on either one because one wouldn't work or it would completely malfunction and wouldn't stop beeping when there was nothing to alert me about—which woke up my family and I in the middle of the night. It was a major hassle when I had to keep buying two expensive products that would detect two different types of hazards. I just wished there was one device that would detect both smoke and CO and after researching if there was, there are!
Jennifer VioletPublished 5 years ago in 01Best Wireless Bluetooth Headphones on Amazon
The era of Bluetooth everything is here. People are starting to see the heaven that is the device linking technology and starting to incorporate it in every product that can house it. Wireless Bluetooth headphones are one of those products and are already in the running for most convenient invention of the 21st century. The reason is simple: chords are annoying. They break, are easily lost, and get into a ten-round boxing match whenever they are in your pocket for more than a minute. Seriously, it is impossible to get that tangled by just being in a pocket, it defies the laws of nature and will never make sense. So do yourself a favor and invest in Bluetooth phones next time you're out, and don't worry about researching which are the best—I have already done that for you.
Jesse KinneyPublished 5 years ago in 01Reasons to Become a Programmer
When you think of a programmer, you probably think of a person in a dark room with a lot of coffee and in front of a computer all day. Well, sometimes it is like that. But people do not see what programming can teach you. Programming is a beautiful thing. Programming is something that can make a person develop in various ways, like in creativity, patience, perseverance, optimism, organization, more attention to detail, more adaptability, logical thinking, and resourcefulness. All these I learned from learning programming. I am not the best programmer, but it did teach me all those things.

Chloe WaltonPublished 5 years ago in 01Dangerous Social Media Challenges Need to Stop!
At one time, the internet used to be a much more peaceful place than it is now. MSN Messenger was hugely popular, Facebook wasn't a thing and you were considered 'seriously cool' if you had the latest music downloaded onto your phone. However, now the internet is vast, frightening and downright stupid.
Katie EdwardsPublished 5 years ago in 01Uprising 3D Rendering Artists on Instagram to Keep an Eye On
Have you ever had those moments when you're skimming through pages in a magazine (if you still do read paper magazines) or scrolling through Instagram and you happen to cross by a 3D photo that you admire and believe it is real? Maybe you even picture yourself living there? Sadly, believe it or not, you may not be actually seeing a real picture. But what you do see is the makings of a 3D rendering sample of an artist's work.
Lu VazquezPublished 5 years ago in 01Is the iGen Going to Be a Problem?
In my marriage and family class a couple days ago, we talked about parenting children. I love children! I want my own someday in the near future once I am done with college. What got not only me but my class thinking was this question from my professor: “Do you think that parents are becoming lazy when it comes to handling their own children?” My following question was: Are they really?
