Is there a free version of an app I paid for on android? I can't remember which app it is but I used it a while back and the free version was great, but I've since upgraded to Android and can't find any similar apps. Can anyone help me out?

You can download it, but you can't upgrade to a premium version.

The answer is yes, there are apps that are free on Android but cost money on iOS. But be aware that you may not be able to upgrade to the premium version from the free one. How do I know if an app is free on Android? The easiest way to find out if an app is free on Android is to search for it in Google Play.

You can also look for a "free" badge in the app's description or screenshots. If it doesn't say "free," then there's a good chance it will cost money. How do I buy an app on Android? If you want to purchase an app that's only available as a paid download, you'll need to use Google Play and enter your payment information just like you would with any other purchase.

Then tap the Buy button and confirm your purchase from within the app itself.

In most cases, you can't get a paid android app for free on an iphone.

The answer is no. If you've ever spent money on an app, there's no way to get it for free. You might be able to find a similar app for free, though. The reason for this is that Apple does not allow developers to make their apps free on their store.

This is why there aren't really any free apps on the App Store in the first place — there are only paid apps with a "Free" label next to them that can be downloaded for free if you have an iTunes gift card or some other kind of credit/debit card attached to your account.

The reason for this rule is that Apple wants people to buy things from its store instead of getting them elsewhere (like Google Play). The company makes more money this way than it would if it allowed users to download any app they wanted for free and then pay later when they had enough money available in their account.

Free iphone apps will remain free on both platforms.

The App Store and Google Play are both filled with thousands of apps, but there are some that you have to pay for. And while iOS is a closed ecosystem, Android is an open one. That means you can download and install apps from anywhere, even if they're made by someone other than the company that makes your phone.

It's not always a good idea to install third-party software on your phone — for example, if it's a game or messaging app that relies on your phone number for authentication. But if it's something like a calculator or note-taking app, it's worth giving it a try before paying for something similar in the official store.

How do I find free iphone apps? You can search for free iPhone apps in the App Store, just as you would for paid ones.

Paid iphone apps cost money on android, but they're often discounted at 50%.

I have an iphone and I bought a paid app on my android phone. The app is free on the iphone, but it cost me money on android. Can I get it for free? iPhone's Google Play Store has a lot of apps that are free, but they're often discounted at 50%.

This means you can get them for half the price of a paid app. If you want to try out an app before buying it, this is a good way to do it. You can't use this method for every app; there are some that don't offer discounts, so you'll just have to buy them outright.

Some developers with an iphone and android app offer the android version for free, but the paid version only comes with in-app purchases.

If you have the Android version of an app, the IOS version will be free. Some developers with an iphone and android app offer the android version for free, but the paid version only comes with in-app purchases. You can also find a lot of free apps on the Apple App Store, such as games and productivity apps.

If you want to use these apps on your iPhone, you can download them from the App Store, then transfer them to your computer by connecting your iPhone to iTunes and copying them into your iTunes library folder. You can then transfer those files back onto your iPhone to install them there.

In Brief...

There isn't really one great way to do this. Some developers may offer a limited version of the app for free with ads, some may provide limited trials, others will simply provide ways to buy older versions of their app. The best approach will depend on the app and your needs.

In other words, there's no one right answer to this question (although if you find out, let us know!).
